  1. Personally I don't mind the delay before you can endorse, because I rarely immediately endorse a mod unless it's so eye-catchingly phenomenal I can't help myself. Instead I go through my mods periodically and go, "Okay...which of these have I *completely forgotten I'm playing?"* Because if they fit that seamlessly into or have become that necessary to my game, they've deserved that endorsement and then some. (Being able to endorse through the NMM has made that soooo much easier, by the way--thanks for that!) So yeah...I would probably never make that 30-day goal, myself. Now, if you were going to by a lifetime ratio...then I'd maybe have a shot!
  2. So, something I noticed just now when upgrading/renewing is that there aren't any options for buying gift memberships, unless I'm just blind (always a possibility!). And the lifetime memberships are just about obscenely reasonable in price...but now I have no way of flinging more money at you next year, or the year after, when something else comes up. I'll be the first to admit that I'm the biggest hermit ever, but even I could find someone to gift with a year of premium membership if the option was there. It could even be an anonymous gift, and I totally wouldn't care--but that would be a way to both support the site AND support, say, my favorite modders if someone hasn't gone premium themselves. Just a thought!
  3. Love the new version! The server options are exactly what I've been hoping for, and I'm so relieved not to be asked to log in every single time I start it up again. The only files I'm still having any trouble with are the ones whose file-sizes are under that magical threshold that requires a log-in--I can't tell where those are being pulled from because it doesn't say in the new column, and they still take forever, even with a location chosen and premium servers turned on. Not sure if that's an actual bug or things working as expected, though, since there's never been server options on those. As for the mod update settings, I personally wouldn't mind if there was a "never" option beyond 7 days, not because I never want to update my mods, but because I tend to do them all at once on the rare days I have time, and that tends to be every two or three weeks, not days. So that's 70-140 "calls" the servers wouldn't have to deal with for each overworked person like me. ^_^ As for being aware that the program is in beta...it does say so in huge block letters on the loading logo every time you start it up. So regardless of where you dl'ed it from, I am...not sure how anyone could miss that for long...? :\ But for the record, as betas go, I think you guys are doing an excellent job--thanks for all the hard work!
  4. You guys are pretty much the sole reason I'm still playing Oblivion and Morrowind so many years later, and I'm sure you'll be the reason I'm still playing Skyrim ten years from now. Happy birthday, and thanks for being awesome. :)
  5. So about this tagging thing again. :) Let's say...to avoid stepping on any toes, here...there is an official vessel with a pestle in Dragonsreach. And there is a tag for vessels with pestles. And you find a mod in the untagged section that adds a vessel with a pestle to the Blue Palace, so you go to tag it appropriately. But the modder has disagreed with the tag previously, so you can no longer vote for it. Not disabled their tags, which I am assuming is different, but disagreed with the "vessels with pestles" tag, leaving the mod tagless. I can see giving modders the option to disallow tagging. I can even see modders disagreeing with a tag and then turning around and tagging their own mods themselves. But I'm not sure I see the point of wanting a file to remain purposefully tagless (other than making sure that all the well-meaning folks going through to tag the tagless are going to be forced to click on their mods, but I've been tagging for 3 hours and should probably be sat down with a stiff drink and some cookies right about now). What exactly happens in that case? Also, the suggestion for a tag for "author has disabled tags"? SHEER GENIUS. I would like one of those, please. :) Otherwise, I had a quick poke around looking for a FAQ that explains in small words for the OCD like me exactly what falls under which tag (FXAA injectors. Is that lighting? Utilities for players? Environment? Augh?), but didn't find one, and searching by keyword to see what others have tagged things as is not...really as much help as you might think. XD If I'm blind as well as OCD, feel free to point me in the right direction!
  6. So I took the hint and just tried the "files without tags" link in your post...and I'm getting a 404. But I also just got off work and I'm totally braindead, so that could very well be a case of me jumping the gun, misunderstanding your post, being totally asleep at the keyboard...yeah. Either that or people are amazing and went through and tagged everything already! Hey, it could happen.... EDIT: Ahaha, as I suspected, I'm too tired to be looking at the internets right now. Skyrimnexus not being converted yet and all. *facepalms forever* Uh, my eagerness to help's gotta count for something...?
