Some of the fake corruption is related to crafting for me see the 5 house building mods and when i tested the mass crafting things. Both time i got fake corruption but it still seems ramdom if it corrupts or not. Thats now the only 2 times my game had the fake corruption both crafting related. But yes on my last install it was also happening when i did not craft anything. And i dont think we can do anything with this info. I just save before i craft anything and if it corrupts i delete the save and try again. It works for now.

1 out of 5 times i got the fake corruption when i mass crafted armor and weapons. So bug still there i avoid crafting now and just play so long the game works.

Well the scarlett, blackthorn, silverstead aswell as the windstad mine and heljarchen farm are all involved with crafting. But that makes not really much sense since they had there own craftingbenches. But it got corrupted when i tried to build silverstead. I have also quite a few crafting mods but barely did anything this game with it. So could be crafting related or not since it was happening last install also when standing around doing nothing.

I had a complete new install also i got rid of everything its not leftover stuff . Even with all mods installed it was happening when i activated my suspects on the new install. I would love to blame the 1.3 patch but then lots of people would have this stuff happening. But i did play to that point with most of my suspects and i also build the scarlett and silverstead without the fake corruption happening. But i simply also do not know what did cause this and may cause it again so i cant add new mods or port some myself. Im at 35 hours now still no corruption and the magic stuff has settled down its sometime lighting issues but i can live with that.

Still thinking that the mods i had before only promted the fake corruption to happen at an instant not really causing it. Im also done with adding a single mod now that it mostly works.

I got rid of notice board also anything i ported over myself with the new install. I added my Modlist ive played 30 hours now and the only time it got fake corrupted was when i added my suspects back in. But thats not saying that this list is fine since the lighting issues are noticable but i rather take that then to restart the game every 20 min.

But a combination or incompability of mods at least seem to promt the bug in happening early. The bug was back immediately after i added my specific subjects now i still have 143 plugins and the bug has not shown in 10 hours, but the game is starting to have lighting issues as well as the spell issues now looks like godrays went wrong. It has to be specific to ones personal skyrim installation that triggers this stuff. I did all i can fresh install, stayed away from bigger mods and buggy stuff, everything installed with nmm and ordered with loot. Maybe its somehow an issue with the original skyrim somehow ? That skyrim se gets confused or something? I cant figure it out. And that sucks. Edit: And now all the iron drinking mugs are purple so the original files got corrupted? from what? I didnt change anything neither do i use texture replacers for mugs. Ah it was a mod bug from the floating market but its strange that they loose there mesh/textures in a good 26h game suddenly.

I dont had a single cdt with the new install. But yeah same bug fake corrupted saves you cant talk to people it breaks the conversation and empty messageboxes like the levelers tower the home spell . Ive seen the light flicker glitch for the first time now in wuunferts room. Maybe the issues will pile up now and i also will get the lag and spell issues if more time passes.

So after i removed the mods the game still runs without the bug at least for now. I just play further and see how it goes. And i dont really noticed anything too wierd. I saw 3 times some elk play superman and fall out of the sky. But other than that i didnt have any lag nor spell or lighting issues. But i didnt really play much further if one save got the fake corruption since once it hits its constantly corrupting every 20 min at least on my last install.

Would be great to point to the thing that does it to stop the fake corruption from happening again in the future. I added a bunch of suspects back in my game lets see if it corrupts now again or stays stable. For now it still is guessing. Edit: So i added around 60 mods and am now at 155 plugins and the fake save corruption is back after playing good 18 hours normal with 93 mods. There has to be something that causes this either ported mods that dont work right or not playing along. There are no leftovers from other mods since it was a new install and i kept everything so some mods not fully deinstalled causing this is out of the window. Here are some mods i dont had this install : Sofia , Recorder , Quaxes Questorium , Ap Skyrim , Ambriel , Maids 2 , Falskaar , 3dnpc , Virelda and Aurlyn. I stayed away from the bigger ones but its still happening. From the 60 mods i added these i had before the new install when it did the fake corrpution : Silverstead, Skyrim Underground , the notice board, the scarlett, windstad mine , yennefer of venderberg , dolmen ruins , eso skyshards , gildergreen regrown, helarchen creek , ivarstead , karthwasten, kynesgrove , shors stone , soljunds sinkhole and skyrim se expanded weaponry. Im removing those mods and see if it fixes it or will now continue to fake corrupt the saves. Or maybe they are all ok and another mod does somehow the corruption because its not ported right. Im really sick of this s**t neither in skyrim nor fallout had i to deal with such s**t. I run fallout 4 with 330 mods and no problems now im scared to add anything to skyrim se if i get it fixed.

My game is now more stable too been 12 hours and no corruption. My guess would have been a mod that was not fully uninstalled or some leftover scripts. That would explain it comming back regardless how many things i uninstalled. Unless it comes back again but im not adding new mods now. Hope it is ok now.

i deleted everything skyrim se related. All mods , saves , the game , the virtual install. I redownloaded skyrim and downloaded 93 mods today so its fresh as it can be. I guess at 6 hours the corruption stuff will be back again because reasons. Lets see how this goes.

Nope i dont have a strings folder.

I dont use Wrye Bash for skyrim se. But hell could be anything that causes this s**t. Im just at a loss never had to deal with something like this.

This is part of a comment from the Aurlyn Companion: i noticed that the dungeons added by this mod have underscores in the form id...this needs to be fixed for sse as having underscores messes with the save system. But it seems that only breaks the save sorting not cause fake corruption. Or could it break it if several mods have underscores?

I got 6 hours out of my game corrupt again without adding anything. Yeah im done with skyrim se. Cant figure it out whats responsible its like random. I was down to 115 mods but im sick of testing further.

Its back to the fake corrpution stuff that i added today was BosmerElderShadowArmor ,vader armor , LeftHandRings , Darkwater Crossing , Shor's Stone ,Helarchen Creek , Kynesgrove , Karthwasten , Soljund's Sinkhole and Solstheimdungeonpack. I will restart one last time if that save corrupt without the mods i added today i quit.

I added 19 mods but did stay away from the bigger ones like falskaar ,moonpath , beyond reach , maids 2 , quaxe´s questorium. Also i didnt activate the 5 building mods silverstead , blackthorne , the scarlett , windstad mine and heljarchen farm. Also i use vilja still as the only follower mod i also had sofia , recorder and inigo. Game still works without corruption however now sometimes when i save the savefile only shows up under all saves and not under my character but i believe i had that happen in fallout 4 too sometimes for me.

I see you're using better vampires on your corrupted list, which version were you using in that list? 7.8 or 7.9? It was better vampires 7.6 that i had. But i dont think it is just a single mod who leads to this fake corruption. Right now everything still works. i guess i have to add stuff again to see what mods caused this for me. And i also installed skyrim new + all mods on a new harddrive and it was still happening.

I have tested a bit and could play 6 hours without the corruption appearing. Only downside is i got rid of like 90 mods. i hope it stops now but that is still to see if it can start again at the 16 hour mark. ive added the mod lists from before when it did the fake corruption and the now for the moment functioning.

I have/had the same issue every 20 minutes these fake corruption and npcs lose dialogue. I got rid of all mods that were still form 43 and i could play a hour without problems. Lets see how long this lasts.
