Ok I have tried reinstalling f03 goty to a different folder in a different directory however the only one that is available is the D drive..Which does not have enough space to store the f03 files..I am not able to pick another directory or create another folder on the desktop to install the game alternatively on and the only place where I can install it is its default directory

Okay so launching the "new" fallout 3 from the paste folder from FOMM worked but launcher refuses to work and shows the same application error seen before The game menu launches but when trying to load a new game..it automatically crashes *We can also just move on from this thread and I can just play fallout 3 with only loading my save states from the menu when pressing esc during gameplay* (I feel like this is not worth the trouble)

So I reinstalled fallout 3 goty...Didn't launch the game yet....Copied and pasted the fallout 3 goty folder in steamapps to the new folder created in C directory......Launched "new" fallout 3 from fomm but it told me that I should launch the game first since there are no ini files

Yeah sorry..Busy again with life but I Uninstalled all of my games off of steam and will update more when I'm done with the work at my house and done doing some computer tasks on my rig

Okay....My laptop is being borrowed at this moment so we are going to have to wait when it comes to testing out the laptop... Again I'm still playing my fallout 3 game fine on my rig without using the f8 quickload function that came with casm so far (again the creator of the casm mod had stated that bugs can happen with the f8 quickload functions)

Okay uninstalling fallout 3 from steam and backtracking UPdate: which steps should I use again? the one from 1 to 15...(didn't complete all the of the steps probably) SFC/scannow did not show anything odd Checking the chkdsk at this point

Okay I'm back.....Changed an option in windows that allows me to see file name extensions :smile: I believe I might have to backtrack back to the steps... BRB

Can you tell me how to do that? unless its on the web somewhere ( I gtg to work in 40 minutes or so) 2.Game is not running from my "paste" folder launcher..It says "It appears that fallout 3 cannot be installed and the installer cannot be found.. 3. Those two notepads show nothing..The second one shows the load order of the .esm files but no .esm files are present? huh..Anyway to save you some headache..I'm done for the day and I have to go to work soon...So hopefully I will let you do some research or take a break for a while while I'm out..Hopefully we will get this fixed soon peace :smile:

Okay I replaced the files with the two files that was sent to me... Good news: the launcher works Bad news: Can't see anything in the data files

Didn't see anything in fallout 3 steam folder either?...Hmm I guess we are going to need to backtrack somehow

So the patch downloaded...Now what? I don't see the same thing seen on your screenshot when looking at the "paste" folder
