Hey, thanks for the reply. That might be it, I suppose, but I do know he hadn't appeared when I'd only finished two of the ally quests (Broken Circle and Nature of the Beast, to be exact). According to the fandom wiki he'll disappear after the Landsmeet (https://dragonage.fandom.com/wiki/Slim_Couldry), but if he's disappearing (or not appearing) earlier than that, then I guess I'm out of luck. I have checked, and do know he'll appear on other characters, just this one I'm playing at the moment that he won't appear for. I suppose I can go check if he'll disappear after I finish Broken Circle or Nature of the Beast.

I've been googling this problem for a while, and so far have found a total of two solutions, neither of which work. The problem is that Slim Couldry is not appearing in the Denerim Marketplace, as he should. I have stealing, 2 points in fact, and yet he doesn't appear no matter how many times I reenter the marketplace. In terms of timing I've got all four allies at the ready and am preparing for the Landsmeet. As far as I can tell from the info I've found so far, Slim should appear if I have the stealing skill (or stealth, but as a Mage, I can't get that one), and disappear if I go ahead with the Landsmeet. However, he isn't appearing despite my PC having 2 points in Stealing, the first solution I found. The second solution I found was a small mod found in the third comment of the following thread: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/8559298-crime-wave-quest-slim-couldry-no-requirements/ I tried this as well, but no Slim. I did check if the mod was working, and it is, so I have no idea what could be wrong. Am I missing something in terms of when he might appear? I've had the stealing skill for a while, but never seen him. I've checked my quest log, and I've not completed the quests and forgotten about them, so I'm at my wit's end... I'd really prefer to finish the quest line, even if it is optional. If you have any info I'd love to hear new things to try, but I'm starting to think I'll just have to give up.
