Any idea how? I think this tool imply's a lot of pre knowledge about spell making

Hey Guys I was wondering anyone could tell me how to attach a custom NIF and Textures to a new spell? Creating a new spell in the toolset just gives me a list of the vanilla effects. Essentially I want to make a copy fo the fireball spell and use different textures and slightly different particle effects to a spell that wont retexture the original fireball spell. I just want both in the same game Any help would be AMAZING Thanks guys :)
