Yeah, I'm gonna use bound sword, but I attempt to steer away from melee combat for these reasons: 1. Keep an overview of the area. 2. Can summon a new thing without being interrupted. 3. Heal my tank/atronach/zombie. 4. Well, I'm a caster

Hey people, I was wondering if anyone has done this build before: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#81541 Major: Alteration: obviously for beefing my armor when only wearing robes, and resisting magic. Conjuration: atronachs, zombies and bound sword (up 'til oblivion binding for the close quarter fights). Illusion: left and right tree. Restoration: everything except wards and dualcasting. Minor: Alchemy: Up to Benefactor. Enchanting: speaks for itself. As you can see, I have no offensive magic at hand, just summoning, defensive and healing magics. I won't get to melee unless absolutely necessary. At higher levels I will be able to walk around with a 4-man warparty (sounds like good ol' NWN or DA:O to me!) - Myself as summoner/healer. - Melee Follower, likely some tank like Lydia (like, because no way I want her anywhere near me  ). - Caster Flame Atronach. - Caster/melee raised dead thing. Sounds like a lot of fun to me, but are there people here who tried the same thing and ended up switching to Destruction because they want to jump into the fray as well?

Same here bro! I went from 110 kb/s (Netherlands) to 620 kb/s (US Los Angeles) :D

The Paladin I linked above has lost his faith and now roams the land as a Blackguard. He became a member of the DB and the Thieves, and will do all evil daedra quests :P Level: 30 Magicka: 143 Health: 280 Stamina: 200 One-Handed: 62 Heavy Armor: 50 Block: 53 Smithing: 91 Sneak: 59 Conjuration: 35 (raise dead to complement his wickedness) Build: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#81268 He will become a Paladin again after I've done the DB, Thieves and Daedra (and he's around lvl 50). I'll drop Sneak and Conju at that point and focus on enchanting and restoration, ending like this: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#79159

I got a lvl 25 Breton Paladin with Heavy Armor, Block, One-Handed, Restoration and Smithing, only doing "good" guild's quests. I've started rp'ing his downfall last night, making him a Blackguard and stripped him off his holy gear. I've added Conjuration for the raise dead spells and sneak for just being a tad bit more evil. Also changed his appearance in showracemenu (went from a blond, blue eyed guy to a white haired, black eyed guy :P ) He now wanders the land in an ebony armorset and a cruel mace in his hand ^^

Thieves Guild Bug: Lack of Quests and Armor
Moredhel replied to DainBramaged01's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
One from me as well :) It wasn't so much of a problem that I didn't receive the gear because I'm playing a fallen paladin in heavy armor, but still it annoyed me some parts are undoable thanks to the vendors-mod  -
And now I'm playing a Breton Paladin :P Level: 11 Magicka: 100 Health: 180 Stamina: 120 One-Handed: 37 Heavy Armor: 25 Block: 25 Smithing: 41 Restoration: 21 Skills now: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#79155 Skills target: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#79159

The best char I've had so far was an Altmer Battlemage. Sadly I've experienced corrupted savegames (no idea if it was random or a mod had something to do with it) and lost him forever :( Here's the build I had: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#78798

Currently reading R.A. Salvatore's The Cleric Quintet for the 6th time or so :P

If you had to raise a sword for a city....
Moredhel replied to SubjectProphet's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I'd only fight for the people of Whiterun and Riverwood. Maybe for Markarth (I keep saying it as Marklar, remember that South Park episode? :D ), but only if the silverbloods are dead and all the guards replaced. -
His tears are acid, he discovered that after crying just once in his life. He never did it again. What a bawz! :D edit:and his single what? Acid tearstreak?

Ever use Dawnbreaker as a vampire? Hysterical...
Moredhel replied to SpellAndShield's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Back in the good old Daggerfall days, vampires, werewolves, and wereboars were all immune to any weapon type below silver. Unfortunately, the days of challenging the player have long since past, and now most of them can be easily killed by a board with a nail in it. Wereboars? Really? -
Man, I'm addicted... I started a new Drizzt Do'Urden char (google it) today at 12:00 (gmt +1) and I'm already lvl 21 :whistling: Build: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#78286 Stats: One-handed: 40 (one sword named Icingdeath which does +15 frost dmg, and one sword named Firebrand which does +15 fire dmg) Archery: 37 (a dwarven bow named Taulmaril, with soultrap on it) Sneak: 53 (going all the way to shadow warrior, since that what Drizzt is, being a stealthy Drow warrior) Light Armor: 31 (crafted nightingale armor with another mod to make it look like Drizzt's oufit from the books) Enchanting: 43 (cheap iron daggers with petty soulgem dmg enchants ftw for sales) Smithing: 71 (gotta do something with that amount of iron ore and leather strips, right?) And here is our hero: http://i.imgur.com/AXe44.jpg :D late edit: pro's may wonder where Twinkle is. Well, Twinkle is a shite name for a weapon, and I prefer to do fire dmg instead of magickal dmg when I'm facing a random enemy :armscrossed:

I was correct http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Britte :D

Playing a lvl 15 Dunmer Two-Handed fighter atm. Two-Handed: 50 Heavy Armor: 29 Block: 22 Archery: 25 Smthing: 52 Wielding an exquisite 2h sword named Dragonbrand (JaySus swords mod) + a superior Hunting Bow Wearing exquisite Gilded Steel Plate Helmet, -Armor and -Boots (some Paladin armor mod) and Iron Gauntlets of Major Sure-Grip (+25% 2h wep dmg) I'm currently at this: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#77748 And going for atleast this: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#77735

Rorikstead, right? :D

Curved. Swords.

Because dragons don't suddenly lose their souls after you get all words? :P And now serious: maybe you get more than you need because there could be more words in an expansion? ;)

Currently an Altmer Spellsword at lvl 10. Major: - one-handed - conjuration (bound sword and atronach) - light armor (wearing the modded light-armor thalmor outfit) - destruction When I feel like it: - enchanting - smithing
-
Turn is "make them flee" not "fight against their masters" ;)
-
Thanks for your reply :) I won't use Alteration since the Thalmor outfit is now counted as light armor thanks to the mod I mentioned ;) The cloak spell is a nice idea. I'm "dual-wielding" my Bound Sword in right hand and (currently) Flames in left hand, and yes, I've already got Mystical Binding and Soultrap, and will fill that branch to Oblivion Binding (to banish summoned creatures and turn raised ones). If needed I can switch to Fast Healing, so I've got no worries about getting killed, it only comprimised the magicka left for casting more destruction spells, but I'll figure something out (and hey, there's a thing called potion :D )
-
Removed Block for Smithing, to improve my Thalmor-outfit once in a while ;) I've already found myself an outfit by the way! When you've completed Bleak Falls Barrows head out in the direction the exit faces (to Pinewatch, if you know the place. There's also a necromancer altar nearer to the road) and you'll either see 1 mage and 2 soldiers or those guys + a captive. *Schwing!*

Yup, another character I thought of. I was thinking something along this line: Major skills: - One-Handed (either with or without Bound Sword) - Light Armor (thanks to Thalmor Light Armor Conversion we can wear Thalmor gear as light if we want to) - Conjuration (atleast for atronachs, maybe for Bound Sword) - Destruction Minor skills: - Block (really only if need be, I'll dualwield sword and spell, hence the class name) - Enchanting - Restoration Background: - Name: undecided - Race: Altmer <Name> is a refugee from the Summerset Isles, condemned to be executed by the Dominion Nazis (can I say that? I'll just do it) for being unwilling to support their regime. <Name> managed to escape the prison and left the Isles as a mercenary guard on one of the tradeships heading for Hammerfell (this was before the Dominion went to war with the rest of Tamriel). After living a few years on Skyrim's border, <name> overheard villagers talking about Thalmor elves looking for a certain altmer with a certain mark on his face. <Name> knew he had to run again and promptly ran into some blue-dyed fur-wearing nords. Knowing who they were and what they represented, <name> vowed to spend as little time with them as possible. The morning he walked away from the Stormcloaks <name> was captured and thrown in a cart with the lot he had nothing to do with. Upon entering Helgen as a captive, he found Thalmor elves talking with the general who orchestrated the ambush for the Stormcloaks. Burning fires seethed in <name>'s eyes and he said to himself "if I can escape once more I'll make every damn Thalmor pay for what they've done to me and these people!" <Name>'s adventure in Skyrim has just begun, and he has two primary objectives: - kill EVERY Thalmor he finds - Profit! He's used to living large and is quite unscrupulous, he'll take any job to make money even it that means theft or murder.
