I'd also like to note that i'm getting the same type of CTD in Rorikstead, dunno if it's related to this crash or not though.

Recently i've been crashing to desktop about a second to five seconds after entering Candlehearth Hall, i've combed through my modlist at least three times and have nailed the culprits down to XPMSSE and/or Racemenu, and reinstalling the mods don't fix the issue. I'm not exactly sure why it's those two mods that are causing me issues but any help would be appreciated. Resetting uGrids seems to have helped, I have a question though, would upgrading my RAM improve performance enough that I could have uGrids set to 7 and have all those fancy shiny things installed while not having to worry about random CTDs and freezes as much? Say... from 6 gb to 12 gb?

Yeah, the autosave and gamepad method is what I was referring to.

Would I have to start a new game if I used the 3rd and second last methods?

I was hoping you guys could help me out with a rather big problem i've been having with Skyrim recently, which i'm pretty sure is mod related. Atm the problems i'm having are random crash to desktops while outdoors without any error message at allrandom freezeups when outside (no looping sound)game freezes when a spell is cast (no looping sound, happens indoors and outdoors)infinite loading screens, need to reload a previous save in an interior cell before the particular save will load correctly. Sometimes doing so doesn't help at all and i'm forced to start from an earlier save. I can usually tell when it's happening when the "working" LED on my PC stops flashing.More often than not, purple/missing textures usually precede one of those issues minus the spell cast freeze, which can happen without warning. I'm not sure what's causing this problem, since I have a pretty good PC all in all. I currently have 226 mods running atm and did some tweaks to my skyrimprefs and skyrim ini files as well, and i'm also running the 0.90 version of Superb ENB. My computer specs are as follows: OS: Windows 7 64 bit SP1 CPU: Intel Core i7 930 @ 2.80 GHz RAM: 6 GB Triple-channel DDR3 @ 533 MHz Graphics: Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 GHz edition Also, here's my latest BOSS log atm: also just in case a bad ini tweak is causing the problem, here's the ini files as well: Skyrim.ini SkyrimPrefs.ini and the last 40ish lines of the most recent log file in case an errant script is causing the issue: Hopefully you guys can help me solve my issues so I can finally play this game without having to worry about it crashing/freezing every 5 minutes, lol. :biggrin:

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me out with an odd music bug i've been experiencing for a few days. What's been happening is that whenever I load a save or start my game from an existing save that's in any cell other than one that's in a town, the music goes to the town music instead of the usual exterior/dungeon music like it should be. I can hear the correct music for a second or two at the loading screen before it switches to the town music as well. I've tried disabling all of my mods to see if one of them might be causing the issue, but it still happens regardless so my guess a script might be causing the problem. I'll keep trying to pin the location of whatever's causing the issue for myself, and in the meantime, i'll attach my loadorder so you guys might be able to assist me in this.

Hey there, I was hoping if someone here would be able to take these armor drawings here and turn them into something for skyrim, I didn't draw the pics myself and the design isn't mine, the credit for that goes to Wintermute who was kind enough to allow me to use his pictures for the request. since the beginning of this week I seem to have been running into an issue where my game tends to freeze up and or lag for 5 minutes or more, usually after entering a new area/fasttraveling etc. So far, i've tried almost everything including sorting my load order with BOSS, tweaking the .ini, changing my sound, and nothing seems to have helped so I assume it has to be a mod problem. I've gotten the spell tome and whatnot working, it's just that when I try to cast it the left hand casting animation plays instead of the animation that happens when you cast a master level spell, such as Fire Storm. Not only that, but nothing happens. I hear the explosion when I cast the spell but I don't see any effects happening from it ergo i'm not seeing any plates flying off the tables and that sort of thing. Can anyone tell me what's going wrong and perhaps provide some assistance? I've attached the .esp as well if that helps.

I recently installed Oblivion: Game Of The Year Edition on my computer, and when I try to start it,a small black window opens up on the top left corner and I get the dreaded "Oblivion has encountered a problem and needs to close.
