  1. Greetings, I beg of thee a fairly simple task, I wish to don the garb of a medieval duelist. However, the smiths of Skyrim, talented though they are, know nothing of the ensemble I wish to gallivant about in. I require the assistance of seasoned smiths, armorers, or tailors to bring my dreams to life. More precisely, I wish to wear the suit of a noble from days of yore and brandish a noble blade. This would include the following: -A plain, white silk doublet; noble but not ostentatious -A dark leather jerkin; worn, but not ruined -A dark leather glove adorning the right hand; a duelist specialty -A pair of dark trousers; they need be tight, but not restricting -A pair of dark leather, side-laced boots; customary of wanderers -A light dueling blade; a one handed, basket-hilted, curved sword If you aren't well versed in medieval apparel, you need only google the terms and if you need inspiration for a blade design, you'll find exemplary models here: http://www.dragonsbreathforge.com/saberscurvedswords.html If you declare yourself up to the task, then good luck and godspeed, your gallantry and craftsmanship will not go unnoticed. All men and women of the trade will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, S. Bantien
  2. Greetings, I'm new to modding and would like to know what mods I should install for a to restore a sense of grandeur to a seasoned Oblivion fan. I've logged over 750 hours of role-play intensive adventuring across a multitude of characters into vanilla Oblivion on the Xbox 360 and now I feel it's time to move on. However, as I said I am fairly green when it comes to modding. Any suggestions of mods that increase the depth and immersion the game offers to a role-player would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, S. Bantien
  3. Those are actually some of the first few mods I've seen that aren't ridiculous, thanks.
  4. Which mods should be installed for a new playthrough if I've already completed the vanilla experience multiple times? What overhauls should I get if any, what armor/clothing/weapon mods, what aesthetic mods should be used, which companions, etc? All help would be greatly appreciated as I'm very green on the modding scene as it were. Thanks, S. Bantien
  5. Looking for great aesthetic mods for Argonians and Khajiits; things that add Khajiit hair/facial hairs and Argonian head decorations, as well as patterns, texture, and colors for each. I'd also like some armor/apparel mods that look especially good on the beast races, as they are my favorites.(Specifically, helms, hoods or headbands/circlets that work nicely on Argonians and Khajiits.) Weapons that fit the beast races would be nice as well. Help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I've found it very difficult to find beast armors and retextures. Thanks, S. Bantien
  6. Looks wonderful, thanks. Do you know of any good, sensible mods that add male hair/facial hair styles or a really high quality retexture?
  7. Looking for some good character creation mods that are high-quality but not over the top like so many that I've seen. I'm looking for mods that grant more options and more beautiful characters without making everybody modern cover-models. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, S. Bantien
  8. Starting a new Skyrim playthrough, wondering what mods I should install to make Alchemy a viable long-term main skill, as well as make it more interesting. Specifically, what I'd be looking for is a way to make Alchemy more useful on its own, such as the ability to craft things like bombs or splash potions that can deal damage without the use of a weapon. I'd also like mods that make alchemy a bit more difficult. As well as these, I'd really enjoy an armor/clothing mod fitting of a legendary alchemist and a home with a more reclusive hermit sort of vibe that would fit the alchemist archetype fairly well. Along with these mods, I'd like some graphic tweaking mods to give Skyrim more beautiful, fantastic wilds, to keep hunting for reagents interesting. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've never really attempted anything like this before. Thanks, S. Bantien
  9. Please, I don't know what mod does this but, I'm sure there's one out there. Any help would be appreciated, reloading through the scope is killing me.
  10. Starting a new playthrough and wondering what mods are completely necessary. Was thinking the whole Project NV/FOOK Convergence Project 'cuz it adds all the individuals I was gonna add.
  11. I'm an aspiring writer and novelist and I would love to write story for quest and companion mods but I haven't a clue how to get started. I need some help learning how to set up mods like this.
  12. Right now, I'm working on 2 'role-play heavy' playthroughs: -A male rogue- This guy is your text book rogue, he's a real smooth-talker but, he's not an idiot. So, obviously, he's never without a good weapon. This guy uses traditional rounds and weapons, particularly, a concealable blade, an old-school rifle and the cowboy's best friend, a huge six-shooter. I need mods that can give him a more dashing look while keeping true to the rough, rugged rogue he is: scars, tattoos, facial hair, hair. For armor, he needs something that has a really worn feel to it. I was thinking a Han Solo/Indian Jones type outfit. For weapons, I'd like to have, a long-barreled 'dueling' revolver, this should look well-kept, sleek, maybe black.(he takes care of his gun) I'd also like a good rifle with a feel much like the vanilla Cowboy Repeater. This guy always has a knife in his boot, so to speak, so I need a good knife. -I'd like this guy to have a western look however, in no way do I want a cowboy- -A female scientist/doctor- This girl is a sophisticate, she can handle a laser but, would rather be buried in a book. She's a real snob, but she's also sensible enough to keep most of her opinions to her self. She's exactly an athlete, more of a punching bag really. She uses energy weapons, laser specifically and prefers to not be in melee range. For her, I need mods to give her softer, less hardened, more feminine features. Better hairs, lips, eyes, etc. For armor, I'd like to give her a real scientist/doctor look, maybe a modified, more armored lab coat. It can't be real armor as she would be greatly unaccustomed to the weight of most anything. For weapons, I'd like her to have really space-agey, tech-heavy, advanced laser weapons. You should know from one look that these came from the future. However, a Hi-Tech, homemade look and feel would be awesome as she's smart enough to make her own. -She needs to have 'wimp' written all over her but she should scream space-age- --I'm not looking for any barely-there armors for the girl--
  13. I was wondering if there were any retextures for the Pip-Boy 2500 mod? I've seen plenty of textures for the default 3000, such as the Nuka Cola skin but I was looking for something different for the 2500.
