The main issue for me is that most of the content seems to be under level 30: http://i.imgur.com/0LOdKNL.jpg So I don't mind 30-40 taking much longer. Right now I'm around level 38 and the levelling pace feels normal. It's only 20 to 30 that felt much too fast. (so far) If we could tune the pace to our own liking, it would help improve the experience. I know that experience gain is also tied to the Intelligence stat, so this be worse for characters with high intelligence. They might level very very quickly in the beginning of the game and find themselves fighting very weak enemies for a long time until they adventure further south.

I don't know if anyone else had a similar experience to mine, but I found myself having a growth spurt between level 20 and 30, where levels came very quickly one after another. It wasn't long before my level was far higher than the area around me - where I still had a ton of quests to do. There was no challenge anymore, not even with increased difficulty in the settings. I would like a mod that allows us to slow down the rate of experience so this doesn't happen again.
