We're progressing at a fast rate and we will be able to release an alpha version by the end of summer, with the first county in it! :smile: Since the mod is huge and that we intent to release in English, we've decided that the translation would begin ASAP. This, like the Skyrim civil war, will challenge your ideological views (in that case, meritocracy versus birth right). Note, however, that the quests involved will be better than those of the Skyrim ones :dance:

Renaming the region would be very difficult at this point of the development (however early it can be). Plus, "New High Rock" also fits the Breton lore: in a land where anyone can create a sovereign State among hundreds/thousands, it is likely some guy gets on a hill and founds "Teh noo Empahr that scrooz yoo all". New High Rock fits into this "excess-of-ego" category :tongue: So let's say that the kingdom of New High Rock is located in Western Reach, and we'll both agree :whistling:

The mod won't be as mind-tearing as The Witcher can be. No cynicism in sight. However, this does not mean that it won't offer moral choices. Simply, our mod draws more inspiration from chivalric romances and myths than from gritty fantasy. As for the sexual content, since we long for historical credibility, the mod will of course feature brothels and prostitutes, and the player will be able to pay for their services. However, there will be no pornographic content.

The mod will be translated in English only if another team is willing to translate it (heavily recommended, of course :whistling:). As such, the voice acting will be exclusively done in in French. Concerning the names, What you see is simply these "fairly simple" names... in French. To take your example of Vertêrives, this could be easily translated into "Greenruns". The French names are as "elaborate" as their English counterparts.

I can give you some names already present in the mod. For instance, the main cities will be called Alesbourg, Vertêrives, Valtordu and Âprevent. Plus, among the noble families are the Montroises, the Sylbenittes and the Puyserces.
