MOD to run SDV on DirectX rather than OpenGL?

There is a compatibility problem with older hardware PCs, OpenGL and monogame that creates all sorts issues when playing the new SV. Supposedly, those issues should go away by using DirectX. -
The change in recent versions of Stardew Valley has left many players (myself included) unable to play the game on our old hardware. After countless hours in search of a solution the best I could find was this suggestion to make a mod that'd run SV on DirectX. Since I do not completely understand the subject, could any of you mod makers do this? Please, message me if you're interested in helping ([email protected]; u/niemandasked4)
