  1. Anyone have an answer for this? I still haven't made the changes in my data folder.
  2. I am in need of a little bit of help here so if anyone has any answers/information for me it would be greatly appreciated. I've ran SKSE (latest version 1.7 something) for a long time and somehow just now stumbled across the SSME patch. From my understanding the patch is built into 1.7 versions of SKSE or later but we have to activate it by creating an SKSE .ini file in the data folder. My question is this (it may be dumb and simple): When I go into my Skyrim folder there is already and SKSE folder there. The description says to create one in the SSME instructions. When I go into the SKSE folder that is inside my data folder it has another folder called plugins. To clarify... The SSME instructions say to "create," an SKSE folder inside the Skyrim Data folder but there's already one there on my PC. Inside that folder (SKSE) that is already there, it has a folder called plugins with various files from mods I've installed. Ultimately my question is, do I still create the .ini file under the SKSE folder (where the plugins folder is located)? My guess is an obvious yes, but anytime I'm messing with files, creating .ini files, etc. I really like to come on here and ask someone who knows better than I do. I would say I'm average at best when it comes to modding. I'm really hoping this can help with some CTD's I've been having for a long, long time. Additionally, I recently installed the safety load (mod) from Nexus. It's worked wonderfully as I've not had one single ILS since installing it. However, I'm still getting a fair amount of CTD's and I'm quite certain that the vast majority of the time it is because of poor memory allocation with my game/system. I can hear my tower rev up and can tell when my game is about to crash. Hopefully some of you guys have an answer here. Thanks in advance.
  3. Using this mod can you copy one item from one house and put it in another? I'm wanting some of the tall bookshelves in my Hearthfire home (I'm not adding an East Wing Library). I am wanting to turn another part of the house into the "library."
  4. Please tell me there's a mod out there to stop the game from playing like this. I really need a mod that makes it so enemies don't just go back to doing whatever they were doing after their friend, or worse they are shot with an arrow. I really haven't been annoyed by it too much until my recent sneak playthough. There were three bandits sitting around a table in a cave. I shot one with an arrow, ran away, and snuck back to see them all (even the one with an arrow sticking out of him) sitting at the table carrying on a normal conversation as if nothing happened. These were all high level enemies so it took me 10 minutes to sneak, shoot, hide, rinse and repeat until all of them were dead. It's borderline game-breaking for a sneak character.
  5. I'm surprised this isn't an option in some of the hud mods I have but is there a mod that moves the text/dialogue options out of the very center of the screen? I'd really like for it to be much smaller and in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, out of the way from my otherwise clean screen.
  6. I've noticed that most of the really good house mods seem to have static items that can't be moved and serve as holding containers. While I understand that most people probably prefer this and I'm most likely in the minority, I really prefer home mods without these static items. I wish mods like Morksom had an option to just have plain shelves instead of ones loaded with junk I can't reconfigure. What are some good home mods that provide this?
  7. I've been begging for this since the game's release and I'm rather disappointed that it hasn't come out yet. I'd be more than willing to pay a modder to make this. I'd really like to see a good alternate death mod in the game. As it stands right now there is virtually no consequence for dying. I looked at the New-U Station mod (which now the only way to get it is to get Tina's Cookipocalypse) but I really hate the fact that it knocks your damage output each time you die. I think paying caps, and having to go track your crap back down should be punishment enough. If someone can make a good alternate death mod like we've seen in Skyrim and Fallout: New Vegas I'd be very grateful. Here's to hoping.
  8. If I could only have one mod in Fallout 4, this would be it. Please, please, please.
  9. Any clues as to when we should expect to see a mod like this. I don't create mods but this one seems like it is one that may be possible without the Creation Kit.
  10. I don't plan on trying to make my own mod. I'm just simply saying that if I had the ability that I'd do a death alternative mod for sure. I'm just hoping that it makes its way into Fallout 4.
  11. Mean while, everyone is doing a sniper stealth build. But it right, the mod is so dame fitting for fallout world. No question. I've thought about so many scenarios that would be great after you died. If I was a mod-maker this would be the one I'd make.
  12. By far one of my favorite mods in Skyrim was Death Alternative. Not only do I hope that this mod makes its way to Fallout 4, but I think that the Fallout universe lends itself terrifically to this mod. For those who are unaware check out the link but let me explain why I think this is an essential mod for anyone seeking a hardcore/realistic game. The ability to save practically anytime and the quicksave features in most games today make dying practically meaningless. If you see a particularly dangerous situation there's nothing stopping you from going in anyway guns-a-blazing. If you die, oh well, just reload and try again. And again if necessary. I, like I'm sure many of you, enjoy having to truly think about what I am doing. I like to have to assess the situation and decide what the best course of action may or may not be. A Death Alternative mods in essence makes dying meaningful. You want to avoid it at all costs. I can't tell you the number of times that my adrenaline was pumping as I was fleeing an enemy that was much stronger than me in attempt to avoid death. Without the mod, meh, oh well, just let him kill me and then reload. What's better is that Fallout could have some amazing moments after you do in fact "die." You could be imprisoned by super mutants, be captured by the Institute, left on the side of the road with all of your gear gone, being sold into slavery by raiders, etc. The possibilities are truly endless. And the fact that we have a Luck category in the game could play into this as well. Some of my best moments in Skyrim came after I had died and had my gear looted. Having to track down who had my stuff and eventually getting it back was genuinely gratifying. I remember losing a particular sword in Skryim to a bandit marauder. The moment when I killed him and reclaimed my sword was so organic and satisfying. So again, I hope (and am practically begging) the maker of this mod (Bralor Marr) to get it into Fallout 4.
  13. When I type in the console command I get a message saying, "Item 020028EB not found for parameter Spell item," and, "Compiled script not saved."
  14. I've looked through many, many player homes here on Nexus but I'm having trouble finding a suitable player home. I'm looking for a warrior's type home that has some kind of secret passage/door that leads to a fairly large trophy type room. I watched a video here on Briars' End and I love that player home. But it seems as though it's no longer available.
  15. I just purchased a pretty hefty rig to play Skyrim after years of playing the vanilla game on the Xbox 360. I'm very much so looking forward to all the mods that are available but the one's that interest me the most are one's that add to the immersion of the game. Anything that makes the game more "hardcore," is right up my alley. My "essential mods" are definitely realistic needs, Frostfall, and the mod that shows all of the weapons you have. This leaves me with a question though (as I'm not sure that this is a mod that already exists or is one that needs to be requested). I completely understand that this is not everyone's cup of tea but I'd love to see a mod that requires you to carry some kind of bag in order to hold and carry large items. Specifically armor. It could be a relatively large bag but would need to be physically dropped upon entering combat situtation. You could also have a follower carry the bag for you. But essentially no more carrying (invisibly) three armor sets while you clear a dungeon out. You should have to put it in a bag, get it to your horse (which should also have a large bag or a carriage). Again, this would not be for everyone but if I was capable of making a mod this is one I'd definitely do. If this already exists and I'm unaware of it, please point me in the right direction.
