  1. Hopefully you will be able to understand this, but you have admitted to pirating the game by downloading a cracked version. this site does not tolerate piracy which means not only will you receive no help with your issue but it will likely get you banned. I recommend getting a real copy of the gane and then you will likely have fewer issues. Good day.
  2. Posted in your other thread but will re post here for convenience. Hate to sound suspicious, but why don't you have a serial number, to access steam, it should have come with any purchased version of the game. It sounds almost like you may have a pirated copy and if that's the case you will receive no assistance here. If not then I don't know what to tell you other then reinstalling your skyrim, because NMM works perfectly fine with the latest patched version. Good Luck otherwise.

  4. Top left of the Steam window, click Steam -> Settings -> Downloads + Cloud -> Download Region It's a bit annoying to change this because it requires a client restart every time. You should also set your connection bandwidth there. Anyways it's nearing prime time on the east coast now, so DL speed is already halved from there but still twice as fast as the european servers atm. Yeah I actually figured it out but thank you for the response.
  5. Where do you go to change your download server?
  6. I have not personally encountered the first bug, as to the second funny as it sounds I have found if you continually press jump during the "kill" animations as soon as the dragon throws you you land right back in front of him and can fight as normal and have not had the visibility glitch afterward. You may want to try it and see if that helps.
  7. "If Sky = Dark and Clock = 3:00 then Time = AM If Sky = Bright and Clock = 3:00 then Time = PM" It's easy to say that but if you have been in the military or have used that timescale for any length of time it becomes much easier and desirable to continue using it. I have been out of the military for well over a decade and still find myself using it on any time device that allows me too. That being said I have no issue with normal time and don't really need a mod myself but I don't begrudge others who might.
  8. Legion Overhaul 2.5 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=2042 I have been using this mod for quite sometime and it has a good balance of some light armor legionnaires as scouts and the bulk in heavier armor. As well as fur cloaks and such for the cold setting. It's a pretty cool mod if you like the legion. I highly recommend it. P.S. if for some reason the link doesn't work just use search with keyword legion and look for this title Imperial Legion Overhaul V25 6th one on the list. Hope this helps.
  9. As far as I know the answer to your first two questions is no as of right now, but may be able to be changed once the CK is released or possibly with console. As to your second question Same sex marriage is already possible in Vanilla Skyrim no mod necessary. The only issue is certain NPC's are not currently on the list of marriage prospects. But again CK and possibly console codes change that. Hope that helps.
  10. There is a code new to this game as far as I can tell which I use and I think will give you experience similar to what you are looking for. TIM=Toggle Immortal Mode Similar to TGM, but you still use health, magika, and stamina. when health reaches zero you go down on one knee but still regen health normally. If people are still attacking you it can get dicey, but you won't die and you can heal through potions or magic as well as regen. Hope that helps.
  11. Just a few things to clear up any confusion, and a few observations. As far as the thieves guild is concerned you never have to talk to Brynjolf at all, or once you do ignore him, either way head strait into the Ratway and talk to the bartender in the Ragged Flagon and continue the quest that way. As to the Deadric Quests as a good character, I look at it as collecting these items to keep them out of others hands, and if my character has to give up some morality for the greater good then that's the sacrifice. The other thing is it's not about the developer's being jerks and making you go evil it's about moral grey areas and forcing you to make tough decisions, you can either do them all and see all the content, or you can choose not to based on your character and miss some things but you should feel good that you made the right choice. It's real easy to second guess the Developer's and say they should have done this or that, but with what resources they had they designed the game the best they felt they could. You can't be everything to everybody, So you try to be the best of all things combined to as many people as possible. This isn't Mass Effect or Dragon Age, yes both those games have lots of depth as far as story and Character choice goes, but are limited in scope as far as sandbox open world exploration, the opposite can be said for TES Games. I enjoy both for different reasons and try to recognize and except some of those limitations so that I can enjoy the game. Just my twocents.
  12. So just wanted to add that I found this mod: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4822 which was very similar to what I was thinking, I know it's not technically unarmed since you have the knuckle weapons but still quite cool and recommend anyone interested in alternatives to check it out.
  13. There is a separate code in Skyrim now TIM-Toggle Immortal Mode, which won't let you die, but in all other respects is just like normal game play. You still use mana, and stamina, and lose health, but when you reach zero it puts you in crawl mode kind of like the essential NPC's in the game. I have been getting achievements on my current playthrough that I have not recieved before with TGM using this method. Hope this helps and have fun
  14. To be fair to Elisif, remember she is quite young and has been thrust into a position she neither wanted nor was prepared for. I did not like her much at first for many of the reasons already stated, she appears weak and needy. But as I did more solitude quests she grew on me and I think given time and continued good guidance she would make a fine Jarl and potential Queen. All that said I voted for Balgruf, I just really like his character and I like Whiterun as well so that helps. My second would have to be either Elisif or the guy who replaces Ulfric who's name escapes me, because at least he tries to fix some of the Inequality that runs rampant in Windhelm for anyone other then a nord. My two cents anyway :).
  15. A search in the mods section would do wonders. Can't remember the modder at the moment but look up unlimited rings, and even unlimited amulets, he has made a mod for both and they work quite well. yes as the poster above said that was the one I was referring to.
  16. Drizz't Do'Urden is a well known drow(darkelf) Ranger character from the forgotten realms setting in Dungeons & Dragons. He was mildly similar in some ways to what you are planning but not so much that I would say you are wrong in your ideas for your character. It is difficult these days to come up with something totally original, so go for it and have fun. my two cents anyway. P.S. the Drizz't books were written by R.A. Salvatore and are a pretty good series to check out if you like fantasy novels even if you aren't familiar with the setting.
  17. He does come up later in the game , not sure if his absence is game breaking but he's in an important quest so take that as you will
  18. Hi all, I was just wondering for unarmed combat if there was a way pre ck to give access to the one hand weapon perks towards unarmed combat. Either making gloves that count as a one hand weapon or having unarmed itself count as a one hand weapon. main perks i think could be cool potentially, would be Armsman 1-5 for the damage boost, Dual Flurry for the attack speed boost, and Dual Savagery for the power attack bonus. and potentially Bone Breaker 1-3 for the armor Pen bonus. I think it would be sweet for those interested in unarmed combat. Thoughts, comments and suggestions welcome. Thanks for your time.
