  1. (A) I am planning on getting a better performing PC at the end of the year. So, is my save files from my main Skyrim folder the only thing I need to transfer over all of my game progress? (B) Also, is uploading my save files to Google Drive and then downloading those to my new PC going to work as well as using a USB stick?
  2. I want to use the console commands and "mass-upload" aspects of the game such as all the perks, all the items, skills, ect. using the bat command. Although, it is not working as expected. I am essentially following the directions from the Elder Scrolls Wiki @ the following address: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:CC:Console_Command_Batch_Lists_(Skyrim) NOTE: See my attached file for what I have. My directory is the following: (Not what they have listed) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam In this folder I have the following folders: appcachebinconfigcontroller_basedepotcachedumpsfriendsgraphicslogspackagepublicremoteuireslistsresourceserversskinssteamSteamAppstenfootuserdatavr And there are a number of these folders that have folders in them, and so on. Should I be saving it in this folder, or one of its sub-folders? The problem with doing a trial-and-error thing here is that many of the sub-folders have sub-folders in them! The only other place where I would think of saving my batch file would be in the Skyrim folder in my "My Games" folder: C:\Users\DF300_000\Documents\My Games\Skyrim The only folders I have in there are: (I tried it here and it doesn't work.) SavesSKSE So, I do not know what is the problem here. Is there a problem with the actual text that I type in the file? Is there a problem with when I actually am in-game console trying to pull the file up? Is there a problem with the file extension? (E.g. ".txt" or ".docx.txt") I am entering the following in the console each time: bat everyperk Any help would greatly be appreciated.
  3. I am having issues with frame rate and general performance of the game, and was wondering the relationship of game performance and mods. I have a Lenovo G505s with an AMD A10 2.5ghz 6GB RAM Quad-Core. (A) How do I know which mods will slow my pc down? (B) Does simply downloading mods [without activating] slow it down? © Does downloading mods and [activating them] slow it down? (D) What categories of mods are known to slow perofrmance? (E.g. quest mods, armor mods, high resolution textures, increased follower count, ect.) (E) Does SkyUI slow it down? Does using the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) slow it down? (F) Does having DLC [activated] slow it down? (G) Does the Hi Resolution texture packs slow it down? Would I simply want to play the vanilla game if I want a nice frame rate? (H) What settings can I tweak on my computer/Skyrim that will increase my pc's performance? (I) Is there any settings that I can tweak in my graphics card application on my pc that will increase performance? (For example, I have an AMD so mine is called "AMD VISION Engine Control Center") Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
