  1. Pretty much the title. Sensitivity is MUCH higher in 3rd person than it is in 1st person. Also, if you jump then ADS, your sensitivity is way higher than normal as well. Coincidentally, if you jump and ADS while in 3rd person, the issue seems to go away. I've got a sneaking suspicion that whatever is causing one issue is also causing the other; ie, when you ADS while in the air in 1st person, it uses your 3rd person sens for some reason. If anyone has any idea how to fix this I'd be forever grateful, lol.
  2. NB4 no the old DLL doesn't work, no the INI edits don't work, some of the fixes work for the SECOND and THIRD games, but the acceleration is hard coded in the first game and requires a new fix, so what is the possibility of someone actually making such a fix?
  3. So, I've got this issue where if I commit a crime and then kill all witnesses, even within 45 seconds, and even inside a house with only 1 person, the bounty doesn't go away and I get no message saying all witnesses were killed. My only idea is that it might have something to do with Requiem making it so the divines won't grant your prayers after you commit so many crimes, and that's how the game tracks it, but IF that's the case, I can't figure out how to disable that feature. Seems like a bug though, and I can't figure out what might be causing it. Anyone else have this issue?
  4. How might I do that?
  5. Okay, so I got banned from chat a while back for using stars. Like, **** in mid sentence. They claimed these were curse words, and I don't know if people are overly sensitive, or if there's an auto-censor feature and they assumed I was actually cursing, but I was literally just typing *s. Anyway, I assumed it was just a temp ban, because I got kicked, then came back in, and asked about it, and claimed that I did not believe typing a * is a curse, but like I said, maybe they assumed I was cursing due to an auto-censor, or were just having a bad day, then they kicked me again and I couldn't get back on. It's been at least 6 months, give or take a month, since this happened, and I'm realizing this wasn't a temp ban, and I'm rather upset that I was banned for censoring MYSELF.
  6. Alright guys, let the discussion commence. Which mod do you personally prefer? Why? Pros and cons of each? Major differences? Best compatibility with other mods? I'm interested in everyone's opinions.
  7. Ah, thank you very much! I was in fact losing like, 50% damage once I took ANY damage, but it seems to have been a conflict caused by me using SkyRe 1.0 with an outdated reproccer, and another mod still unknown to me, but since updated the first 2, the problem seems to be FAR less noticeable, at least for the moment Thanks again though.
  8. Just wondering, do these two mods play nice together?
  9. I've looked through them a lot, and while I haven't read either cover to cover, I have yet to find anything even mentioning health affects at all, besides frostfall slowly killing you in the cold. :/
  10. Only two of my mods modify combat, lol, none of the others, that's why I'm at such a loss. xD I'll check out skytweak though, never even heard of that, but I probably should have.
  11. I'm having this really weird issue where my health determines the damage of my weapons. I use SkyRe, so I know a lower stamina will make my weapons do less damage, but for some reason low health also does this. Maybe this is supposed to be a feature, but at 70% hp, I lose almost 50% of my weapon damage, and while I suppose this is true to life, you get hurt, you hit softer, it makes battles MUCH harder to win unless I avoid ALL damage. And when my health and stamina are both low, my weapons drop from 90 to 30 damage in some cases. I also use BYOG, from ACE, to up the damage of weapons, but only because without it, my weapons were naturally really weak for some reason (though I may have resolved that problem, I haven't extensively tested it) Any help understanding/fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated. Here's my load order:

  13. Oh really?? How do you get the masks? I know I haven't installed a mod for it, but I do have Skyre, so if I have them then that means it adds them.
  14. Is there a mod that adds disguises to the game? I don't mean general "oh, look, that guy's dressed like us, so he must be one of us!" I know that mod exists, I'm thinking more along the lines of the grey fox mask in oblivion. A disguise that you put on to assume another identity with a separate crime gold. I thought it'd be cool to have a mod that allows you to disguise yourself as say, and old man, or a ranger, or something, and only that one disguise (to keep it balanced) to evade the guards, and enter cities where you have a bounty, etc. Like, say you're being chased, and you turn a corner, and sneak. Once the sneak indicator says you're hidden, you disguise yourself (or remove the disguise) and walk right past the guards, who are looking for the other you. If there is no such thing, I will move this to mod suggestions.
  15. As to the first, no I don't think so. As for the second one, this seems sort of like what you might be looking for. (I think) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29368
  16. The work on that mad is absolutely amazing, and I can't wait to see it completed, lol. This will be what I've been waiting for.
  17. That is the Joy of Perspective mod, and is HEAVILY bugged at the moment, lol. It's early alpha and being diligently worked on, but it won't be finished any time soon.
  18. So there are a TON of animation mods, and while sometimes I DO like playing in third person to see my armor/animations/characters general baddassery, I truly love playing in first person for the most immersive experience. My problem of course is that there are very few mods that I've seen which improve this experience in any way. Such mods include the Joy of Perspective mod. This is a stunning mod but FAR from finished, anther two are one that lowers the weapons, and another that raises your character height, which are not compatible with each other. (I use the height mod) So in the meantime, does anyone have any suggestions on mods to improve the feel of the first person game? (Not restricted to animation mods, that was simply an example, I just mean mods that are meant to improve immersion and/or enhance the first person perspective specifically. (such as tkhitstop, and recoil, and that havok mod that causes peoples' heads to get knocked back when struck)
  19. I remember playing morrowind, and just feeling this sense of wonderment, and jaw-dropping discovery. It is to this day, the most immersive game I have ever played, because I truly felt as though I were in the alien world full of magic, where anything could happen. From fast travel using giant bug-like creatures, to stumbling across dwarven ruins, etc. So, In the Nexus forum's opinion, what mods enhance that feeling, and the overall immersion of the game the most? I'd like to get a decent discussion going for anyone else looking for what I'm looking for as well. As a note, I've already looked through GEMS, I don't care about preserving the original feel of Skyrim specifically, and while I would prefer lore-friendly mods, I'm a bit flexible on that as long as the immersion/wonderment level outweighs the lore-breakage.
  20. So, my question is, with the new ERSO, which is the better overhaul, ERSO, or SkyRe? And, in your opinion, why?
  21. Just so everyone is aware of this: Dagger XL This is an entire rewrite of the Daggerfall engine, to basically make it play like Morrowind, though with only slightly improved graphics (but much improved lighting) entire bugfixes, higher resolution patches, etc. Check it out for yourself! It's currently only in the late alpha stages, but I've been tracking it for months eagerly waiting for a full release!
  22. I'd love to see a parrying system, that adds animated counter attacks, reminiscent of ACIII or Batman AC, where they can even apply to more than one opponent. Perhaps that's asking a little too much, but if they added it, I would be extremely pleased. Further more, Just a s*** ton of more immersive things. The reason I love RPG's as opposed to straight up adventure games isn't just the skill system, but the down-time between adventures. You go out on a massive quest, and come back to town afterward, and do... pretty much nothing, just sell your s*** and grab some new quests, I want people to notice how long I've been gone, people who i've interacted with a lot more to be happy to see me, and people who i've pissed off to express displeasure with my return. I want to be able to hug my child, and kiss my wife, better yet, I want HER to kiss ME after I've been gone for 2 months on an adventure. DAMN woman, weren't you even a LITTLE worried about me?? lol I want to be able to go get drunk in a tavern, start a massive bar fight where everyone starts getting involved, flipping tables, and hitting each other. I want the guard interactions to be expanded so that being a bandit/thief has more gameplay options than simply having a bounty. I want there to be an upside to sneaking out of prison, lol. And finally, the ability to climb on ledges! I HATE when you jump at a waist-high ledge, and because your legs can't get on top of it, you have to go around. I'm a goddamn mountain of muscle, lol, I should be able to pull myself up onto a ledge. (I'm thinking games like Thief, or the second Deus Ex)
  23. I actually knew about that, and that's the kind of stuff I was talking about, but I mean even more things like that, in more than just taverns. a little more animations, some immersion, things like that. Maybe some animated "kill-cams" that don't actually kill, but are like counter-attacks if you block-attack combo is properly timed. Just to make it look better, and possibly apply to more than one opponent at a time, kind of like ACIII or Batman AC, when they do double counters. I may be asking for a lot, but if it's possibly, I'd most definitely like to see it.
  24. Some mods I really want to see are mods addressing some new combat mechanics, such as legit counter attacks (not instant death, but animated to look awesome, and add weight to the combat) grapples and throws (shouldn't be TOO hard, programatically speaking, though the animations could get really wonky.) and mini games, such as poker or dice games, and other such ways to pass time in the game besides questing. Also, more reasons to have, and ways to interact with a house. Anyone else agree, or have any problems with these ideas, or additional ideas?
  25. As amazing as the new trailer for Dragonborn DLC is (and it IS amazing!)
