Not to long ago i began switching all my mods from steam to nexus, This is because the Steam workshop auto update function broke my version of Sofia follower when the mod updated to a version that had specific instructions for the update, Basically I found the Steam workshop was simply not the best way to use mods, and use of a manager tool was preferable. Now i have learned about this, I'm glad I switched my mods to Nexus version for my new playthrough, and intend to avoid those mods which are locked behind a paywall I still like the option of being able to donate, but i refuse to pay up front for something that may or may not be compatable or stable or work as advertised. I will donate afterwards should i find the content sufficiently worthy
