Which INI file was it? Skyrim or SkyrimPrefs?

Since updating to the 1.4 Beta patch and reinstalling some manually installed mods, i have encountered a strange issue with my main menu and loading screens in which the Imperial logo or whatever model is being displayed gets tinted red (see screenshots). Problem is i can't recall which mod it was that i installed before this started, so I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue, and knows a fix.

This fixed the problem for me. Does anyone have, or could they create a bat file to immediately make all (naturally available) potential followers essential?
