  1. After reading the "why is nobody making my mod request" thread, i'm honestly fairly discouraged that this will ever see any form of development whatsoever, but maybe this will form a discussion. I'm a big fan of magic in RPG's, and Elder Scrolls is no exception. in fact, i would go so far as to say it's one of the only aspects of the series that really interests me. there are TONS of spells in Skyrim, as we've come to expect from Bethsoft, and the idea of having magic as your actual equipment is something i found to be new and exciting, compared to Oblivion's "press C to throw fireball" method. Exactly five minutes into my first game, i remember thinking "s#*!, i hope they organise the spells at some point, because this could get VERY messy." By the time i had finish the Archmage quests, i was DROWNING in spells. I say drowning because i knew i had at least 3 different Fire based spells [the cone effect, the projectile, and the Rune trap], and there was a situation where i was trying to set a Draugr on fire with the Cone effect as he walked over some floor oil. i had THOUGHT i had the cone effect in my off hand, and a summon in the other, and suddenly there was more than one enemy in the room. I had neither of the correct spells up at that moment, and i spent the next 3 minutes kiting the enemies around the room while i fiddled with the hotkeys i had set. I was so irritated about having to awkwardly scroll through menus every time i wanted to make sure i had the correct version of a spell up, or the correct summon, that every battle devolved into a turn-based SNES game where i would have to hammer on the menu button at the first sign of danger, select my spells, go back into battle, suddenly need another spell, and have to pause again. What i'm looking for is a simple UI popup that lets me know what i have equipped, that could be set to both remain onscreen all the time, or fade away after a few seconds like ImmersiveHUD. AND/OR, some sort of grouping system that would let me bind sets of spells to one of the number keys, so i could literally cycle through spells for one hand by repeatedly hitting that key, and holding the button to apply it to both hands. the first option would be more than enough for me to feel confident about going back into the game again, and i honestly feel it's a massive oversight by Bethsoft not to have it in there by default.
  2. while Project Nevada's grenade hotkey works okay, it makes it impossible to VATS any sort of thrown explosives. i was wondering if someone could modify it so it EQUIPS your chosen grenade, without having to use one of your 8 hotkey slots, or fumble about trying to equip it mid-battle via PipBoy. i've searched the Nexus already, and nobody seems to have done this, but if anybody knows of existing mods, feel free to correct me on this.
