  1. I've recently (4 or 5 years ago) made the switch to PC gaming and when it comes to modding I'll be honest I'm a little in over my head here. I set up a new gaming PC a few weeks ago, downloaded Steam and Skyrim and got to work downloading all my mods from my old PC directly from the in-game Mods section (which I guess is bethesda.net mods?) and one of my all-time favourites isn't supported by Bethesda anymore (Amazing Follwer Tweaks). I found it and all my other mods on Nexus so I thought I'd give that a go and downloaded Vortex as my mod manager. Downloaded all the mods I wanted, installed and enabled them and checked my in-game load order and they're all there (minus pictures or descriptions). But when I go to start a game in which they're all needed the game tells me they're all missing. This PC has about a 1.5TB drive in D:\, which is where I've stored all of my mod and game files, but now I'm worried that there's a compatability issue between C:\ and D:\ that I've somehow missed. Is it just bad in general to run games and mods off of a D:\? I feel like such a noob asking questions like this but I've done hours of Googling and I just don't get it! Help please!
  2. Hi all, new to Nexus (and also relatively new to PC gaming, only about 3 or 4 years) and I feel like I may have broken my mods somehow. Just got a new gaming PC with a partitioned hard drive (C:\ with 2 hundred-something GB, just enough to run the basic stuff and D:\ with about 1.5TB). I don't really know what I'm doing with having more than one disk available to me and I feel like I may have screwed up with putting mods on one disk and the game on another, but I keep getting really confused. I downloaded Steam and all my games and started a new game with 'Live Another Life'. It was going great but another mod I really liked isn't showing up in the in-game mods section (which I think is bethesda.net?) - 'amazing follower tweaks'. I deleted all of my bethesda.net mods and replaced them with the same mod from Nexus using the Vortex mod manager. They've all been downloaded, installed and enabled, and are showing up when I look at my load order. But when I go to load my game, it says that those mods are no longer present and ends up loading a vanilla game. Looking around in my D:\ I'm seeing my steamapps folder which has my Skyrim SE Launcher and other folders in it, which is why I put all of my Vortex mod folders in D:\ as well. Did I do something wrong? Please help; I feel like such a noob!
