  1. After spending hours learning how to recolor the custom Flames spell I made, I've gotten most of the way through. I've made the custom spell, attached a spellbook to it, and I am able to start the game up and use it as intended. To recolor it, I found it's magic effect, opened the .nif in Nifskope, edited the necessary .dds files and linked their paths in Nifskope as well. But the drop-down menu to select the .nif in Creation Kit does not pick up my custom .nif despite it being in the exact same place as the original. I've even packed the .dds files along with the .nif into a .bsa, made sure the name was the same as the .esp that holds the spell, and moved it to the necessary path with the rest of the plugins. Nothing. I've exhausted myself trying everything out, and what seems to be the solution is to create an "Art Object" that you can assign the custom .nif to that will -hopefully- have Creation Kit detect my custom .nif. I have no idea how to create an Art Object. I know the function exists, but I just can't find out where it is. Help would be appreciated.
