  1. Thanks a lot for all your suggestions. Unfortunately I can answer yes to most of your "did you remember so and so"-questions, and no to stuff like uGridLoad. Precisely because I am not an experienced modder I basically just installed that list and made the exact changes the mod authors told me to, then only added in 2 or 3 insignificant mods later. I will try a complete uninstall of immersive citizens next, I think.
  2. The oldest save it doesn't affect is hours and hours back, way before entering Blackreach, unfortunately. Nope.
  3. Immersive AI Overhaul is the latest version and I believe it is completely compatible with Requiem except for a few minor things like the combat AI of some Whiterun followers being off. As for the ELFX patch still being OK, this install is very fresh (one month old tops?) and almost nothing has been installed prior to the new game. The only fairly intensive addition was Enhanced Towns and Cities and I specifically installed that with directions for installing it on a progressed Requiem-save. Unfortunately I don't really have experience recording game footage, otherwise it would be fairly simple to record the behaviour. Nope, they ignore both of us completely, focusing on the evil, menacing, invisible villain somewhere off in the distance.
  4. After finishing Blackreach, I noticed I was missing my follower, Ugor. I tracked her down to some random cave in The Chill where she was imprisoned... by a frost atronach? Okay. I killed the atronach, picked the lock on her door, and escaped. Delivered the McGuffin to Septimus and went back to solitude to rest at my house. EXCEPT: every single NPC in the entirety of Skyrim now acts like they're fighting someone. They all run in the same direction - from Arngeir in the Throat of the World to the beggar in Markarth. They cast buffs on themselves, run to safety or do whatever else their AI tells them to when a fight is near. Suffice it to say, there are no actual enemies anywhere. So... what gives? My load order is as follows (this is my first major problem, been playing for hours on end):
  5. I'll check it out, thanks. What worries me is that I can only reproduce it by saving and loading, and that the icon is still glowing/active on the toolbar when I do. May have to restart :/
  6. Thanks for suggestion. I tried it, but it didn't work, however I have some updates: 1) I can only replicate the behaviour on save/load. So it's every time you load, it happens. 2) It doesn't seem to happen in the Storm of Zehir campaign, only in the IWD mod. Do mods save in a different way? EDIT: 3) OK, this is weird. The behaviour ONLY happens in my current IWD game - starting a new IWD game and I can save/load with fine with Inspire Courage. What the heck? Can it have something to do with my 'Behaviour' settings on the character?
  7. No. Like I said, with 30 second intervals Inspire Courage simply stops working, while still seemingly being active. I can reproduce the behaviour by force simply by activating the inspiration, saving and loading the save. On load, the inspiration is active on the toolbar but has no effect. If I then deactivate it and reactivate it, it works just fine: characters get the effect and I can move them away from the bard, lose the effect and move them close again regaining it.
  8. So I have a level 2 bard in my party. When he activates Inspire Courage, it works just fine: aura boots up, characters get the bonus. But every 30 seconds, the buff just... stops working. It doesn't "deactivate": the icon is still glowing on the toolbar, it just provides no bonus and no buff icons on my characters. If I click it, it deactivates - stops glowing. Click it again, it starts right back up, working fine. Constantly reactivating would be a complete chore - it's supposed to be on until I turn it off! What's up here? It also stops working in this mana on save/load. The only mod I have installed is the Icewind Dale campaign.
  9. Thanks! Yesterday another forum pointed me to this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12906/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D12906%26preview%3D&pUp=1 It enables Quick Save without the need for an item and has a build-in game balance tool in that it reduces your adrenaline every time you save and you can't save in combat
  10. So, I love just about everything about Survival mode but find the lack of a save feature absolutely obnovious, especially since I'm playing with added difficulty mods like Loot Overhaul. I was considering using the 'Survival Quick Save' mod which looks just like what I need, but a lot of comments on the mod says that after recent patches, the saves break after a while. For that reason, I've been using the console to save the game. However, when you save with the console - or load a save created by the console - food suddenly restores HP (which it should only do on non-survival difficulties). Everything else seems to be working just fine - I'm 15 hours into the game and haven't seen other non-survival behaviour. If you make an exit save or a normal save from a Bed, you can load that and all values are back to normal - food no longer restores HP. But save with the console or load a console save again, and food restores HP once more. I wish there was an option to just turn on normal saving so I could have all the difficulty of Survival without the shitty backtracking
  11. From working perfectly fine playing all yesterday, my game now instantly crashes on Fast Travel to Primm as well as travel around the area. I suspect I must have missed something, since this behaviour was immediate when I launched the game today, whereas yesterday the game ran without any problems whatsoever. 12. EDIT: well, I edited the Fallout .ini as instructed by DarnUI. Resetting the inis to their default state fixed the problem. Hi, I'm having some trouble with my recent FO:NV installation. The main menu loads fine, and the menu options are there, but they're invisible. I can highlight menu options with the mouse cursor, but there is no actual text. I guess there is an issue with missing fonts? 13. Googling FNV 4GB gives a list of threads where people discuss how it's no longer needed. It made sense to me since Skyrim was patchee in a similar way last year. My friend did have it installed though, just checked.
  14. FNV4GB is not needed on this patch according to every source I can find. FNV is capable of using more than 4 gigs. Leery as in he's a miser ;)
