  1. Thank you all for all of the help - interestingly I used SLM again and assinged a preset which didn't work in term of the fact that they didn't resemble the preset exactly but seemed to combine the preset with their default appearance but things like hair still remain unchangeable. All very esoteric...
  2. Thank you Karna5 - I'll give that a shot
  3. I've run across a problem which I'm sure is born of my own ignorance. I've altered the appearance of many of the unique NPCs (companions etc.) but I run across a problem with a particular class of NPC, the most obvious example of which is the two minutemen who assist in taking The Castle but also with some unique Far Harbour settlers (but not unique vanilla settlers). I alter their appearance in the creation kit (they have an entry and a unique appearrace as far as I can tell) as I have with other NPCs but it won't take effect in game. They are also immune to looksmenu. What is happening here? If another mod was also working to retain their appearance wouldn't NMM tell me? Are they untalerable because they use a template and if so how does this work?
  4. All good: it is the mod "Integrated Capital Wasteland Raiders". Who would have thought an armour mod would do this?
  5. I've a bug where I get a chem consumption sounds firing at bizarre moments. Persists in to new game. Can't identify which mod causing or if this is just a vanilla issue that has appeared for me only recently. Any help much appreciated. Only added armour and clothing mods recently so I can't imagine they would be the cause.
  6. My game is indicating that all of my modules have been removed - is this the same issue? Edit: Yep, it was the same issue - have to manually sort my load order every time I start Nexus.
  7. I've altered the appearance of a large number of NPCs in the creation kit ranging from companions to the Minutemen to the unique settlement settlers but I've run in to an issue with Far Harbour and, strangely, Jun Long. The Harbourmen (not any of the named NPCs) retain their vanilla appearance but can be changed with slm. More annoyingly the Dalton Farm initial settlers retain their vanilla appearance and any slm changes do not seem to stick. Any help/explanations would be appreciated.
  8. Thanks LadyMilla, but fixed last night throught the tedious process mentioned. Hopefully I won't have to reinstall for quite some time, but I'll remember you suggestion. Thanks again!
  9. Thanks Grizzly, but yep already there. I'm using MMM and FWE, of which I believe that MMM is the only one that alters NPCs. Don't trouble yourself though; I'm just gonna go through and fix it in the GECK. Should only take about an hour, which is way less time than stuffing around trying to find the cause. Cheers anyway!
  10. My apologies, as I'm sure this had been covered, but I can't find much mention of it. I am using Breeze's and Dimon's body replacers and I have noticed a distinct difference in the colour of NPC's heads and bodies. I know that the neck seem is not able to be fixed, but this is a different issue. If I set any particular NPS to "can be all races" the problem rectifies itself. I have toggled archive invalidated. Do I have to go through every NPC and set them to "can be all races" and will this have any adverse effects? Is there an easier way?
  11. Despite the fact that a couple of people from England have already said otherwise I think that London would be an awesome setting. Imagine football hooligan raidiers, "A Clockwork Orange" stlye gang, Ghoul royalty, exploring the underground and all the superb voice acting that usually goes along with British games. I disagree with the idea that Fallout is uniquely American. The 50s were a time where that ideology existed across all of the Western world; the idea that the West was all knowing and absolutely right existed in Australia too and I imagine in the UK as well. I would love to see the macabre juxtposition of lovely little old ladies and cannabalism for example. "Doomsday" already proved that the apocalypes would look cool in the UK. I also like the fact that, due to tight gun laws in the UK that melee and unarmed would be much more heavily relied upon. Fallout: London 2013!
  12. I have a lot of respect for modders as I have no talent in this area at all. I would love to see the following mods. DC Deathclaws (Future FOOK2 Faction) dressed in armour based on this; http://lingeriefootballleaguepics.blogspot...per-hot-10.html Some Mad Max inspired Raider armour like this; http://www.rtlii.de/3795.html http://www.madmaxmovies.com/publicity-arch...erdomeThugs.jpg Especially the masks and plumed hats. The female Bartertown guard looks great. I know that there is a major Mad Max overhaul going on now, but I really just want some armour. I would also like to see some simple jacket and jeans combinations to give the game that kinda "Jericho" touch, as well as some more "Doomsday" inspired clothing, although much of the FOOK2 Raider armour already does that job well. I would also like to see some more lore friendly skimpy clothes. The females in Mad Max and Doomsday look hot but still post apocalyptic and no this does not involve removing parts of existing clothing in like some cheesy mods do...
  13. Superb idea! I didn't even realise that it was missing until you mentioned it. I recommend including raiders or slavers in some way... a slave market? Anyway, whatever you decide good luck.
