  1. Thanks but it sorta fixed itself. I had enboost when the problem happened but I installed a couple mods including a full enb and it vanished.
  2. Plugins.txt, ini's: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/no8r59j18f933nz/AADn1PlUn1tUr7gAszJypwTsa?dl=0 Video: https://youtu.be/s_lQq_0KD_0 I tried modwatch but it didn't work for me. You'll notice in the video that the up-down camera movements are more sluggish than the left-right. Though this disappears when moving. Very odd. Also you can see the deer constantly 'falling'. Any ideas? windows 10, 980ti, i7 6700k, 16g ram
  3. Thanks I figured it out. I cleaned them with TES5edit and didn't realize that was causing it. I figured it out when I noticed them missing from the data section of the vanilla launcher too.
  4. Is there a way to completely uninstall / reinstall MO? When I try to reinstall it I don't get the 'what game are you using this for?' message. And probably because of this MO doesn't show the DLC in either window. Thanks!
  5. Thanks again all. Katy that's a lot of good info, I'll have to take it slow and think how each mod will stack on each other.
  6. Thanks for the input everyone! I currently have a 970ftw and am torn between buying a single 980ti or a 2nd 970 in sli. (Thoughts on SLI? I hear certain things don't utilize it like enbs, I'm not sure) The consensus is the ram i listed is overkill, gotcha. I might keep it or scale it down and the money into something else. Oh and I feel dumb but it never really occurred to me that having too many mods affects performance. I know scripted mods do this but when it comes to non scripted mods I just keep adding them and adding them and adding them. Next run through I'll try to focus certain groups of mods in certain profiles. No need for a fire spell mod in a melee playthrough. I'm kind of a mod hoarder. "Oooooo I like that!" download, install, ignore....repeat. What do you guys think about cas latency when it comes to Skyrim? Is it something that is crucial or would 'bandwidth' be more important?
  7. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Lcpdyc This is what I have picked out so far. I'm basically going for what's the most expensive (to me). I know if I ask over at r/buildapc they'll tell me that it's overkill for a 5 year old game. But you and I know what mods and enbs do to even the best of systems. What do you run? What would you like to have? Thanks!
  8. http://i.imgur.com/5t7lkSC.jpg I seem to remember seeing this before but I can't remember what caused/solved the problem.
  9. Hi, I'm about to install a new mobo, cpu and gpu. This of course involves redoing windows on my hdd. Is there a way to conveniently 'port' over mods with NMM? I'd love to just pick up where I left off rather than reinstall every mod manually again. Thanks!
  10. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24684/? There's a ton of outfits to be found there. There are definitely some heels. Some strippery, but others that are more mainstream, though not what you might call 'contemporary'.
  11. Yep I know all that. And I'm talking specifically about the skimpy stuff/nude textures. I'm wondering why I don't see 'clothing' mods that aren't clothing or armor but (nude) body replacers so that you can swap out different looks in the game rather than closing the game, choosing the one you want (somewhat blindly since with visual enhancement mods things will always look a little different from the screenshots) then reloading the game.
  12. I have the ENB thing all up and running. I use NMM and downloaded the Photoreal enb. I drug the zipfile to the NMM window and clicked/activated it. Is that enough? or is there some manual installing I need to do?
  13. Thanks you set me on the right track, it was light fade under options on the launcher. I probably never would've thought to look there.
  14. Some lights like candles only show their effect when you get close to them. Example: in Dragonreach there's a candle in the corner which illuminates the wall behind it, but that's only when I move very close to it. Also the Dragonreach kitchen has a fireplace that only shines on the brick around it after I get close. I tried disabling every lighting related mod I have but I still have the same issue but I don't remember it always being this way. I even loaded the game from the skrim launcher bypassing nmm but still the same problem.
  15. Unfortunately that didn't change anything. I also tried putting in the max values in the enbseries.ini before loading the game, nothing.
  16. It's one of those things thats not really difficult to do it's just very involved if i remember right. For one thing you can get nifskope, or 3ds max, get the plugins to import into 3ds max, import your hair mesh (with the proper checkboxes checked/unchecked, learn to use the program tools/viewports, move the vertices to prevent clipping. But then you might need to re-rig it, you'll almost certainly have to export a new unrapped texture file, copy over the old texture and modify it so it covers the model. You might be able to get away with skipping that step but the texture might look 'stretched' which on hair might be fine if the mesh was elongated rather than widened. Then there's the usual how to get it in the game hurdle. You'd need the creation kit to make a new esm or esp file and the smarts to go through all the steps for that. Or it might be possible to extract the esp that has your hair in the first place and exchange it for your new one then recompile it. I'd just keep looking on this site as well as any other mod resources for new hair mods that would better fit your needs. Good luck either way! here's a short guide http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/506934-how-to-make-a-hair-for-skyrim-using-3ds-max/
  17. Is it possible to make new armor(s) that act as body replacers? What I mean is all these CBBEs, TBBPs, UNPs etc that aren't compatible with eachother or certain other mods, why can't a chestpiece (which covers the chest and legs - and probably arms if you wanted them to) be modeled after the body you want? The advantages should be obvious. You could swap out body proportions at will for you or your follower(s). And why stop there, why not have helmets with appearances on them? (Well I guess I understand that might not be the best idea since you couldn't organically modify the face ingame anymore but that seems like a small price to pay for the on the spot customization of avatars and npcs. Any obvious insurmountable problems I'm missing? I mean this isn't a problem free proposal but isn't that the point of modding? :)
  18. Will do after I sleep, thanks again for all your help!
  19. Well that not only solved the gritty shadow problem but I believe those settings boosted the shadow attractiveness immensely thank you! However her eyes are still dim compared to no ENB. Any ideas?
  20. Perhaps its a normal map or specular map you're missing? Make sure you copied over all the files from the texture pack. Look for femalehands_1_msn.dds or femalehands_1_s.dds.
  21. I'm the opposite, very little experience but I'll give it a try. Do the settings you're trying to change depend on weather or time of day? Maybe the game phases a new weather pattern or the day changes from daytime to sunset and your changes get force reset? I was messing with ENB and also had that issue but I'm easily discouraged and lazy so I just tried other settings so I have no idea how to actually solve the problem. Try the console command 'set timescale to 1' for slower transitions. Mind scratchin my back a little and checking out my little ENB problem please? http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1367098-enb-shadow-issue/
  22. Hi I just started messing with the ENB with the Photoreal settings. However I noticed that both the photoreal and default ENB do something with shadows I find intolerable. The vanilla game has a way of blurring and blending its, albeit ugly, shadows. This produces a natural enough soft lighting/shadow for screenshots. But the ENB changes the smooth shadow to gritty pixelated splotches. Also the ENB does something to the eyes and dims them. This was a persistent problem and not just isolated to that screenshot. The shadow area in question is to the upper right of her forehead and the lower right of her hair. It also is caused by her necklace though that might not be visible in the SS. Anyone know of a tweak or fix for this? It's just enough to hold me back from using ENBs. Thanks! http://i.imgur.com/2kOyrtT.jpg?1http://i.imgur.com/BIQy4s8.jpg?1
  23. The thing is I must have the animations already installed, however neither my UNP mesh nor bodyslide meshes produce the bouncy animations. BUT if I swap in the TBBP (I think) mesh it does go bouncy bouncy. So just having the skeleton and animations isn't enough apparently. Anyone know how to apply the animations to other meshes? I have 3d studio max but I'm way out of practice, do you need to link the mesh to the skeleton or something? Meshes don't contain animation information right? So why does simply swapping in the TBBP mesh over the UNP or bodyslide enable the bouncy animation?
  24. Hi is there a tutorial on making sliders in bodyslide? Thanks!
  25. I haven't seen any around, is it impossible? If it is possible and there arent any I'd love to work on it myself. But I need a teenie bit of help. When importing a TBBP mesh into studio max will I need the skeleton imported too? I won't be making adjustments to the animation, just the appearance and proportions of the mesh. Thanks!
