  1. I'm loving the new textures on the first post of the thread. It looks SO much better, and no longer looks like the armor was stored underneath an ocean for 200 years. I would wish for a bluish tinted one like the default BoS armor (more so than the one on the first post) and also an ACU digital camo version. I'm perfectly impressed with your work as it is though. keep it up!
  2. I followed the tutorials yesterday without knowing how recent they are. I got some very good results, ignoring the fact that the environment map does not change depending on the region. I'm use to doing this on the Source engine where the environment map is actually dynamic, but o well.   3. Could you perhaps make a variant of the textures to match the BoS bluish/greenish tint on their armor?

  5. Wouldn't it make more sense if this were for... iono... oblivion? Seeing as how it already is fantasy and has a pretty nifty spell system already...
  6. Thats what they all say, lol. Just wait until you get to around 30% then youll know whether you like it for real. I was glad that I got my copy free with my video, cause I've been at 60% for the longest time without even touching the game. Like most people, I loved the game when I first got it, but now it's just too dull. Even sniping is boring for me now, and that was probably the best variant of gunplay in the game.

I remember this being mentioned along time ago, but could you perchance tilt the helmet back a bit for the final release? right now as it is, the forehead of the helmet is tipped forward by a lot compared to the vanilla helmets. I wouldn't normally care, but this causes almost all of the weapons to clip completely over the right eye when in zoom mode. Sure, the vanilla helmets have clipping issues also, but your helmet seems to clip even more. It would just be a simple manner of aligning the eyes and breather apparatus to those of a vanilla helmet, such as the BS helmet.
  8. What I'd like to see is someone model armors from the various races in hi-rez from scratch. The SM armors that are out now are pretty cruddy looking and have bad textures, and I would suspect they were ported straight from Dawn of War, the RTS game. Obviously, the units in that are way too small to be upscaled into fallout3 decently. The Tau weapons were done pretty nicely though.
  9. Maybe have +1 rad/sec for all areas of effect during storms? It is toxic rain we're talking about...
  10. You can achieve a good deal of that detail on the helmet with normal maps later on instead of bogging down the engine with a complicated model. gj btw.
  11. What is the armor in the back on the first screenshot, and the last screenshot. They look pretty cool too. I haven't gotten much of the unique stuff in the game btw, is it part of vanilla?
