  1. Yeah, I hear you there. Only thing is with what happened for me is this was 25+ hours into another play through and the controls became even more clumsy after adding more texture mods. I did a bit more reading regarding my ENBLocal.ini and saw they changed the recommendation (at some point in last few months) on how to determine the ideal VideoMemorySizeMb... I think this new, lower value has helped, as I'm yet to experience what I did yesterday -- in terms of the laggy control response time, etc.
  2. Thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure I have it set up already but I'll definitely check out the video once more to be sure!
  3. Hey all, I have to run out the door so I'm going to do my best to cut to the chase here... Earlier this week I investigated my vram usage a bit and determined it rarely exceeded 2.5 gigs. As I have a 4 gig card, I thought I should add a few more texture mods. Over the last 24 hours -- during which my issue first began -- I've added the following texture mods: 1. Ruins Clutter Improved 2. True Wolves Skyrim 1K 3. SRTO Enemies 2K 4. Weathered Road Signs (textures only) None of these have plugins/esps. As far as the issue, I first noticed it while in the dungeons. For example, I'd walk forward, try to stop (remove finger from W) and my character would still take an extra step or two. Same situation when attempting to pick up an item, in that when I press "E" to pick up, the game interpreted it as if I was holding "E" and wanted to move the item. It didn't appear to be an issue while in the exterior world. I tested in multiple dungeons and at various points in time the sluggish/delayed/"sticky" controls occurred. I monitored my GPU usage and the vram in these interior worlds never seemed to get much above 2 gigs. My FPS wasn't a problem either, as it was very smooth. I'm using Mod Organizer and have a dozen or so texture mods that alter the environment textures. A couple of questions: 1. Does anyone know what might be the culprit with the "sticky" character controls? Note, I disabled Ruins Clutter Improved and the sluggish character controls no longer were an issue. That said, I'd really like to make use of additional texture mods... 2. As I have many texture-based mods, many mods overwrite one another. For example, there might more than one mod improving Object X's texture. As a result, Mod Organizer tells me that Mod 1 is overwriting Mod 2's Object X. Can having too many of these situations, where one mod's texture overwrites the same texture added by a second mod, cause any issues in game? I use LOOT and TES5Edit... 4. If anyone else needs a possible solution, I ultimately disabled the Underwater effect in the ENBseries.ini. Having this set to TRUE was an auto CTD for me when attempting to submerge the camera. While this doesn't explain why my CTD's began to occur, setting it to FALSE at least eliminates the CTD. PM me if any questions.
  5. Suppose that is always an option, but I'd probably reinstall before fully pulling the plug on any ENB  Not to mention, I have no idea how this problem arose in the first place, as I've been using the same ENB for months... I should also say I started a new vanilla (zero mods, not even SKSE) play through to test this. Same result... As long as I have an ENB enabled, the crash will occur when the camera should go underwater. ---ANOTHER UPDATE--- If change EnableUnderwater to "FALSE" the CTD doesn't occur. The moment I reactivate this option I CTD. While I could play with this set to FALSE, I'd really like to know why this issue suddenly popped up.
  6. Any luck on this? I'm having this exact problem. With ENB active, the moment right before my camera should enter the water I CTD. With the ENB disabled, the camera will enter the water as it should with no CTD... I should also say I started a new vanilla (zero mods, not even SKSE) play through to test this. Same result... As long as I have an ENB enabled, the crash will occur when the camera should go underwater.
  7. Thanks for the reply. I had a new development in my diagnosing... If I disable the ENB, the crash does NOT occur. The camera will go underwater as it should with no issues. However, if I enable the ENB while the camera is already submerged I instantly CTD. Same goes for reactivating the ENB above the water -- I crash right before the camera enters the water. Deleted the ENB binary, downloaded the new and replaced all of the Serenity ENB files with the originals from the preset download. Still have the issue though... At least I know it's ENB-related?
  8. Quick description of the issue: The crash does NOT occur unless the camera itself is about to go underwater. When in first person, the crash occurs the instant I begin to swim. In third person, I can swim/wade through the water without issue as long as I keep the camera out of the water. The instant I lower the camera into the water it crashes. Note, the CTD occurs just before the camera actually would enter the water -- I never actually see what's below the surface. Let me also point out I'm using Mod Organizer and have attempted to resolve my issue by disabling newly installed mods, testing on three different profiles and in different locations around the map. Please find my modlist, plugins, etc here - http://modwat.ch/dynamiKsf#/modlist I installed a handful of new mods tonight. Following the new installs, I began to notice the crashes. Thinking it might help me diagnose my issue, I disabled the newly installed mods. However, the CTD continued to persist even with the mod setup I'd been using over the last several weeks. I went back and tried old saves in different locations to no avail. I also backed up my load order prior to installing the new mods and running LOOT -- I just restored my LO and crashed upon the camera "entering" the water. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! ---UPDATE--- Does this development help? If I disable the ENB, the crash does NOT occur. The camera will go underwater as it should with no issues. However, if I enable the ENB while the camera is already submerged I instantly CTD. Same goes for reactivating the ENB above the water -- I crash right before the camera enters the water. Deleted the ENB binary, downloaded the new and replaced all of the Serenity ENB files with the originals from the preset download. Still have the issue though... At least I know it's ENB-related?
  9. Reinstalled all of my mods and started a new profile on MO, problem still persists... --EDIT-- In addition to disabling Revamped Exterior Fog, I also can "solve" this shadow problem by changing fShadowDistance to zero... Again tho, this isn't an ideal fix, as that completely removes my shadows. FYI, this video is my exact problem -
  10. Here is a video (not made by me) that clearly shows the issue I have -- I'd appreciate it if someone could take a couple of minutes and help me out here... I appear to be having some shadow-related issues that are the result of Revamped Exterior Fog. Below you will find two screenshots. I typically play with the Serenity ENB preset, but my ENB is disabled in both screenshots. Therefore, this is not an ENB-related issue. The first screenshot (A) you can clearly see a very harsh shadow line in the grass. I'm assuming this is at my fdrawshadowdistance setting, but that isn't the issue here. A. http://i.imgur.com/r6qA1EB.jpg Why such a drastic shadow? Everything within this shadow drawing distance is very dark if not completely black. In the second screenshot (B), you can see what happens (with ENB also disabled) when Revamped Exterior Fog is disabled... B. http://i.imgur.com/BqjhjUD.jpg As you can see, the shadows are much more subtle and actually look as they should. Any ideas? Note, again, both screenshots my ENB is disabled. I also tried a new skyrimprefs.ini file and that didn't help... Link to my mods, inis, etc -- http://modwat.ch/dynamiKsf#/modlist
  11. Thanks for the response. To answer your main question, no I am not using a mod to modify arrow length. I likely have been playing with this for months now and just finally noticed it. Definitely nothing game breaking, just wasn't sure if there was some easy fix to lessen arrow shadow/trail.
  12. I'd recommend - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55568/? - as it looks great and has a fomod installer. Makes installation very easy, assuming you're on MO or NMM. This particular mod has custom walk, run and sprint animations for both genders. During the install you can elect to maintain the vanilla motion if desired...
  13. Anyone have any workarounds to lessen the trail following/surrounding arrows while the ENB is in use? As you can see in my screenshot, the trail is fairly harsh while using an ENB... Sticks out like a sore thumb depending on the setting in which I shoot an arrow. See the link here -- http://i.imgur.com/qlslmMX.jpg
  14. This sounds similar to what I experienced, except I was trying to have daggers sheathed on lower back. XP32 Maximum Skeleton successfully integrated the animation, in that my character pulled and sheathed the dagger from the back; however, the dagger always snapped back and was visually at the hip... Eventually I found out RaceMenu contained options to adjust the dagger positioning (to match the animation I had installed). Again, I'm not sure whether Immersive Animations uses a similar setup, but perhaps this will be of help...
