  1. Had something of an idea for immersion. What if, when you die, instead of just loading the last savegame, it loaded you into a brief afterlife "minigame" based on your choice of god? Given an option to just skip it at will so it isn't overbearing, but maybe with a small penalty for skipping, a minor penalty for failing (dying again), a small bonus for gaining entry back to life (at the last save as normal)?
  2. Maybe my attention span is just all over the place, but I'd prefer to always have some game music playing. The music mods I've found add more tracks, but still leave long stretches of silence. Some way to control that would be incredibly appreciated.

Oh no. Sick burn. We give up and you win.
  4. Well, obviously, but removing all of the radio mods has let me run without crashing, so it does sometimes lend direction to a blank "CTD" label.
  5. So I have been getting CTDs suddenly in the past 2 days. Can't tell what triggers it, seems random. I have removed almost every mod. Papyrus log gives me; [09/19/2016 - 11:29:09PM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp7" stack: [DNMasterQuest (000AEC4F)].RadioFailsafeScript.StartAllScenes() - "C:\Users\Samson\AppData\Local\Temp\PapyrusTemp\RadioFailsafeScript.psc" Line 14 [DNMasterQuest (000AEC4F)].RadioFailsafeScript.OnTimer() - "C:\Users\Samson\AppData\Local\Temp\PapyrusTemp\RadioFailsafeScript.psc" Line 29 [09/19/2016 - 11:29:09PM] error: Unable to call GetOwningQuest - no native object bound to the script object, or object is of incorrect type stack: [<nullptr form> (0004AF76)].Scene.GetOwningQuest() - "<native>" Line ? More interesting... "Samson" does not exist on my computer, so I assume that it means the mod author was just lazy. Or rather, that is my hope.
  6. I apologize if this is superfluous, but I couldn't find anything out there - basically, I want a NPC who can do basic enchanting as they can in the Alternative Crafting System mod, since I now have spiffy armor with crap enhancement.
  7. The one thing I find missing with my Hearth Fire homes is a place to sell and pick up general goods... without going into the hugely overdrawn "Fort" mods... just a traveling merchant that can set up camp nearrby for a day or two before moving on.
  8. Thank you so much for the guides, they have helped me manage the issue.
  9. So the game basically crashes the second it loads the background (before it even shows the menu) Papyrus, unhelpfully, returns I don't know what to make of it. I will continue just randomly disabling mods unless someone has any clue... Cheers!
  10. No I hadn't, should work great. Thanks much
  11. Yes, just so you don't actually die - but you know how you are doing. I'm mostly just annoyed redoing things :-p A MMO-style respawn would work too.
  12. So I don't want to outright cheat. Just cheat a bit. I'd like something that would stop damage at 1 hp... just enough to keep you from death and having to go back to an older save (which would be at the user's discretion)... you'd know when you're defeated, but a tiny error won't spend a lot of time.
  13. I know there is no bumping, but I haven't found anything that does this, still. I just want no companion, using the solo perks.
  14. This seems rather basic, but I haven't been able to find anything (in fact, there are several that increase noise)... My main problem is that the power armor sounds totally drown out the radio sounds, which is inconvenient....
  15. So I'm generally pretty heavily a MMO person. Thought it might be worth it to introduce some elements - things like instead of dying, you go back to a bound place with penalties - dropping random items and whatnot. (I apologize for forgetting the topic in my last post)
  16. So once you get the skill to not use endurance when sprinting, I was left wondering why walking serves a purpose; you are usually either running somewhere/away from something, or trying to sneak up - very rarely do I find myself sniffing the roses and enjoying the view. But what I mean isn't to ignore that. Crouch I use as toggled, I think Sprint should have the same function. Maybe test this out with an icon where the Crouch icon is and see how it impacts gameplay?
  17. The carnivore:herbivore ratio does seem a bit high. It is nice, but sloughing through packs of wolves constantly makes getting simple tasks done. I mean, I love fighting through the wilds, but escaping from a wolf pack to run into a mountain lion to run into a rhino has literally happened to me, and wasn't an odd thing. And that isn't even counting the bloody eagles. Though I am really impressed with the animal AI. They hunt very realistically.
  18. I know that this would really be a challenge in this engine, but I find myself very disappointed by the arrow physics. Given how important archery is in Primal, it makes little sense to me that every shot is a linear line. We know that there is a method of ballistic physics from grenades and such.
  19. That is an extremely annoying trait. Perhaps an alternative would be mixing Hunter Vision and regular vision; just have the footprints and blood be a slightly outlined color. I know that you can actually see footprints in normal view, but this would be a compromise of the view types - not obnoxiously hard, not neon colors everywhere toggling things every few seconds. I guess what would REALLY be nice is a skill set that extends Hunter Vision when upgraded. EDIT I found it to be slightly mitigated to use tab for hunter vision. Much easier to keep it up without inhibiting other controls.
  20. So IE seems horribly complex for some interface tweaks - enlarging portraits and portrait texts, keeping enemy health bars onscreen (as shown on holding tab) etc... are the modding restrictions enough to make changing things like that exceptionally hard? Cheers
  21. Oh, nice, thank you for informing me of that. I assumed it was part of the map.
  22. So I was scouting out for places to build a larger city. The best place I can really think of is the Starlight Drive-In, as far as sheer size goes. But it has two faults. 1) Water source. It has water, but... 2) Radioactive pool That radioactive pool really ruins a large part of the lot, even worse, the center of it. So my request would be some kind of radiation absorption or muffling or just cleaning the water via some mechanic (which could be lore-friendly, I think)...
  23. More basically, a z-axis adjustment. It would let you fix those gaps more easily... though it would also let people put floating things, but that's their thing.
  24. As an alternative, give the assigned profession after the name...
