  1. In response to post #74727003. #74730663, #74732413, #74805273, #74827138, #76737858, #77823098, #78745078 are all replies on the same post. more jarring than they were in the 90's? I hope you were born after the 2000's, because this comment made absolutely no sense to me and KruniacZioZio. Jarring is a word i'd use If I stumbled upon a lifeless body, not to describe a game I didn't like, which is a perfectly good opinion.
  2. Excuse me? Sounds like it's been a while since you had a good look around the dozens of fora around the Nexus where people go out of their way to answer questions to whatever problems that might arise, even when those questions have already been answered over and over again, because, guess what, some people don't look around first before adding their problem to the queue. Saying you haven't found a fix implies you had a look at what the problem might be, like, drivers that are outdated or have been updated and no longer work as they did before. The problem with a lot of... errm... problems is that there can be hundreds of reasons why some of them occur. Giving that the original poster more or less found the solution to his problem (a solution which should be applicable for those that say they have the "same" issue) and that later posters are probably site-hoppers (one post on every available website, posting the same question to never be seen again) there wasn't much reason for most people to go digging into the matter. And of course you know most of us are sleeping next to our desktops to be at the ready with solutions in case someone pops-in with whatever issue... Everybody has the right to ask for help. Nobody has the right to demand help. Seriously? Lol. A lot of words that help nothing and no one in this thread. All you had to do is say "use google and/or search bar here". Or kindly take a few seconds to do it yourself and hastily post something related to the OP post. I know how you feel sometimes, trust me. However, having been here since 2009 registered member and even before that lurking the nexus. I've realized - better not to post at all than post something not helpful. Anyhow; I've had this problem for over a year or more, It's come and gone, there are a bunch of mixed solutions on the internet, which helped many, but others like me still have the stutter and mysterious 'loading icon' next to Audio at start-up. These are some of the solutions posted around: 1.Update to latest video drivers. (do a thorough removal and clean install - google "how to use DDU") 2.Try to move or delete excessive saves in your Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves , leave only the last 5 or so. 3.Disable intro movies and/or intro music. 4.Download mod to change main menu video 5.Set "Controller" and "Vibration" in settings>gameplay to "Off" Some people have had luck disabled multithreading settings in their Fallout4\Fallout4.ini Try removing old saves and turning off the Steam Cloud Sync. None worked for me, problem comes and goes over the months...
  3. Good news, ESP Item Browser's author has brought back the mod! Here's the Link: IN-GAME ESP Explorer
  4. The only way I can see this happening in my knowledge, is to create a weapon mod with a script function to disable another weapon mod (and effectively change the model of the weapon 1st person and 3rd) when you put that 'weapon mod' on. So - you have a silencer, you put it on as a mod, you create a custom item that acts as a weapon mod for all or said weapon, then when you open the mod menu for said weapon, by installing created mod, it disables the silencer, changing the model and dissipating the custom item (or not, might be limited by scripting functions). I can certainly I've create plenty of weapon mods, but I don't promise It will work 100% of the time, nor that it will not break anything significant (for example, you uninstall silencer, and you cant put it on again .. )
  5. Just download a zombie survival mod :D or better yet, download the mod, and tweak it by changing the models, or maybe asking the author to release a different version of it. Why start anew or request from scratch (which is perhaps less likely to happen) when you can always have something to work with. Just my opinion, as I actually feel New Vegas has a pretty good random encounter feel. I actually walked from one edge of the map to the other and actually had quite a few fiends, raiders, NCR, gang members (forgot the gang name, type of snake) random ghouls, even some encounters where characters walked up to me and opened dialogue. Perhaps there is something you are not doing, or you've not played every single content, within the game?
