  1. SOLVED, NVM, found mods I rather like all the components in my workbench, tells me what I have and what not right away and if I need to take it somewhere I don't have to go through thte junk. So one way is: drop everything on the ground and scrap every single item. Works, but cumbersome. Is there an easier way or mod to do so?
  2. I ended up back at NMM, simply because I know it, and, well, it works, though I admit I spend more time following load-order-howtos than with Vortex so now mods work as intended. "Back to Windows gaming" and "new not too easy usable tool" in one fell swoop was a bit much. Wish one would emerge as a standard. Thought NMM would. Vortex needs a lot of GUI work, puts thing in places far away from where you exepct them, the graphical load order needs a big tutorial video (I didn't say anything if there is, would like the link) but has promising features. Virtual files... man, if gaming would go Linux we could just mount alt versions on top or create directories with different symlinks and whatnot.
  3. Hi, installed FO4+SP from scratch, applied lots of mods incl homemaker, Settlements Expanded, Armorsmith, AWKCR -- now when I try to craft a Armorsmith station I get an empty square, and whatever is under the reticle gets selected, there is no projection of the station. Other vanilla objects seem to work. First approach at Vortex with probably too many mods to begin with, but I haven't figured yet how to change load order. Anyone know what causes this behaviour? seems I have conflicting mods or orders.
  4. Paused gamign for a while, massive FO3/FONV fan, got me FO4, was not too happy, returned now to find NMM being deprecated. Tried Vortex - don't like it. FO4 is the only game I play at the moment so I consider going back to NMM, though lot of mods, don't want to install manually really. So - can I use another mod organzier than Vortex at all and still have nexusmods.com browser integration?
  5. If I want to modify an armor or other item in GECK that's part of a plugin or mod, how would I do that? I wanted to have some different effects on the item, so I created a new object property, assigned it a name and the wanted effects etc, then when I switch to another point in the tree view at the left, then back to object effects it was gone. It does work whrn I do it with fallout3.esm being the active file, but then I cannot assign the effect to the armor in the plugin.
