I installed a few mods(a face texture and some outfits) into the packed_DX12 folder as described but no mods are working. Do I need to enable something to make them work?

OP poster has a fair point. The authors of UNP and 7B for example were "sloppy" when creating the legs and the only way to give them a nice and smooth shape is the use the mesh tools.
