  1. Well it crashes before the game even loads. This only happened after skyrim patched itself to 1.6. I've never had issues before that time had the same basic mods installed. At first I uninstalled any mods that would edit game files and then deleted those making sure steam would verify the integrity of the game cache thereby creating the original files that I needed. Besides texture flashing this is the first real issue I've had with skyrim. I used CC cleaner to clean up and loose registry files that might be hurting it. My equipment is not the issue surely as I have well over what meets the demand to run skyrim. My drivers are up to date and I'm a fairly proficient PC user so I know both my mods and my drivers have all been installed perfectly. To pinpoint the crash exactly I'll launch skyrim and it'll get past either the SKSE cmd bit or the skyrim launcher box and then when the game launches it freezes and dies. In fallout whenever this happened it seemed to be a mod comparability issue but as I stated earlier I've checked all my mods off and used BOSS to make sure I have no conflicts. Hopefully that helps a little bit.
  2. I turned off all my mods and it still crashes. I redownloaded SKSE and it still crashes. Validated all my files with none missing and it still crashes :/. What is going on?
  3. Halp! I've updated my graphics drivers to their latest revision, run BOSS and came up with 0 errors, toggled mods on and off. What can I upload to this topic to help people help me? I have around 113 mods installed so something is being a pain but I'm not sure what...
  4. I have looked for ages but for the life of my I can't find a mod that adds a van-hellsing esk look. (Black Trench Coat the hat etc etc) I've always loved the vampire hunter look. Anyone have any idea if there is a mod like that?   7. Well even if it was as simple as being able to have a pistol on your leg and a rifle on your back that you could switch to via hotkey. Wouldn't have to change the positions as much as code the ability to have the two weapons out at the same time. So there wouldn't be any new animations needed.
  8. My mod is in my sig :P. Anywho'm I am just learning GECK at the moment so I would have no idea how to do this. I'm sure the suggestion has been made before though so if any other modder wants a crack at it please do so :D.
  9. You just wouldn't have em'. That or set them to a button like shift - 1 etc etc. You lose normal hotkeys for the greater good of looking like a bad ass :P.
  10. Would be neat if you could assign each hot key a holster position (1 back left, 2 back right, 3 holster left, 4 Holster Right then Repeat that and let 9 be a AID/Misc thing) Not sure what that would require exactly but it would be pretty neat ^^.

  12. I have a few friends on another mod that would probably texture this for me if I asked. Main things I suppose are an animator and a modeler.
  13. Ah fantastic, I figure I'll have a suit with an effect and one without one.
  14. Well the type of kill animation could be changed for different weps. Knife = throat being lacerated if you have a sword you stab them so on and so forth. I agree though, sandman in vanilla would be cooler with a combat knife. The idea I have is a bit more broad than that though ;).

  16. I put this in as a request as well but I would rather actually get the ball rolling on this so hopefully some talented people agree with me here. As I said in the request thread I think it would be great fun to expand on the sandman perk. Basically have it work regardless if the NPC is sleeping or not. So be able to kill the NPC if he/she is just standing or sitting as long as you're stealthed. Now this would completely depend on your characters stealth and melee level. The next part of this is getting Sam Fishers goggles modeled along with his stealth suit and possible a few more varieties of goggles to go along with it. Some good news: With permission the ability to shoot out lights from the destructible environment mod can be added to make the game a bit more stealthy :). Talents needed: Modeler Animator Coder Texture artist My personal skills are more on a PR range. I also tend to be handy with photoshop.
  17. I was thinking I love that instant kill assassination of the sandman perk. Why not apply that to an enemy in any position? Aka: When someone is standing if your stealth is high enough you can slit their throat or sitting whatever. I realize how hard animating is so I understand the work load this would be. Some more violent animations could be added as well such as stabbing the enemy in the back and covering his mouth and he dies or something to that effect. Of course the rate of success for this will be based on your stealth skills and melee. As for armor I have been surprised we haven't seen a Sam Fisher esk set of goggles or anything like that. That would be killer to have if you ask me. Beyond that and sticking with the sam fisher idea some stealth armor based off his suit would look pretty cool. I dont know if any of you have seen the conviction trailer but when those NSA guys/Splinter cells bust through the ceiling I have to say their equipment is incredibly bad ass. Combine this with the destructible environment mod that lets you take out light and you have some really cool stealth gameplay! What do the rest of you think?
