Real old thread but am also interesting in seeing Butterfly Widow get ported over.

Anyone have any luck running this mod? I just get CTD when I attempt to load my game (running through SKSE, NMM). Unsure if it relies on other mods due to dodgy page translation. If someone knows of an english language version, that'd be great. Likewise, can't figure out what's causing the CTD on a superficial level as it screws with the CK as well. Maybe it'd be possible to rip the meshes and textures and repackage them? The site itself doesn't appear to suggest any requirements but the translation I'm getting is really dodgy. Regardless that's probably about as carbon copy as it's gonna get for Elizabeth in Skyrim, although I'd love to see a model that incorporated her Lady Comstock dress :).

Blog piece: Ads, Supporters, Endorsements and Bandwidth Throttling
sanguine18 replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
Say what you like, at least it's proactive thinking, and I'm so glad it's not going to penalize for skin ads because I despise the bloody things >.<. While the abstaining from endorsing idea seems a little arbitrary as I generally don't endorse if I don't want to endorse I suppose it makes sense in the context of offering an alternative to endorsement, and if I type the word "endorse" one more time I may go completely bat-sh1t insane. Either way I might consider premium or at least supporter, I use the site a lot and have hosted mods here and would have never gotten the mileage out of Beth games that I have if it didn't exist. -
Hi all, Had a thought today (which is rare xD), which faction in the latest version of vanilla Warband do you think would come out on top if the game was just left to run without *any* player input whatsoever? Do you think each faction would be balanced enough to stand it's ground against the other AI kingdoms and leave the game in a limbo state of constant conflict? Personally I feel the Swadians with their heavy armour and knights would gradually pick away at everyone else till they were too weak to put up any kind of real fight. I realise that realistically the battles would be fought based on autocalc which takes much of the individual skill and equipment of the soldiers out of the equation, but just say that every battle was fought on a map with each soldier taken into account (as the player would see it if they were there). What's everyone's thoughts on this? On a final note, this isn't a "lets bash faction x, y or z" discussion, please don't let it degenerate into that ;).

Hi all, I've been looking around for a good while for a Kar98K bolt action rifle to play around with in New Vegas. Apparently people just don't share my love of vintage rifles as there don't appear to be any on the Nexus (please do correct me if I'm wrong :L ). So basically I'd like to request anyone with solid set of modelling/texturing skills and a spare bit of time to make one. I'd be delighted to help any way I can, although my skills are a bit limited (I'd do it myself otherwise :P ). Cheers in advance, S.

What was the game that caused your gaming addiction to begin?

Pokemon Red on the GBC :) I probably put years into that game when I was younger :D. -
Basically when I go to load up a character render (body, or head view) I get a little strip of the viewer instead of an actual box like Oblivion's CS had. That's pretty much the gist of it, I'd like to have a larger render area instead of a thing about 2" across. I know a few others have been having this problem and I do know about, and have tried, the resolution fix but I can't for the life of me get used to that kind of resolution, I do a lot of reading and college work so I need a resolution that won't burn my eyes out their sockets. If there's any other solution or fix out there it'd be greatly appreciated :). TL;DR: NPC window is crap, need bigger npc window. Thanks for reading, S.

Oh hell yes! It'll make a nice change from having to scrounge through the repository for M&B mods. Cheers :D.

I don't think you can remove patches on Steam games, sorry mate :/

^ bump. I'm also having this problem and it's making my modding a nightmarish experience. Bethesda have really pulled a fast one with regards to stability and general usability of Skyrim's SDK

*bump* :P. Anyone still interested in this idea? Anyone still KEEEEENNNN???

Ahh, that's exactly the one ^_^ thank you very much. Now all of Tamriel shall kneel before my mighty pwnage!!....again >:D .

Hey all, A year or two ago I came across a great mod that added a katana/ninjato/japanese sword which was possessed or cursed by some ancient evil (as I said, it's been a while I can't remember the back story) that would grow, change shape, become more beautiful, polished and generally more powerful as the player killed with it. The sword itself started off as a rusty piece of junk placed on the floor of the Draconian Madstone chamber in the old Pale Pass Akaviri command post. I was hoping some kind soul still had a copy of this brilliant mod or knew where to get it as I've been searching for months now to no avail. Unfortunately I cannot remember what the name of the mod is so it'd be fruitless to go searching the WWW for it. If you recognise the description and could help then please do. Thanks for your time. Sanguine.

What is a dwemer, exactly? And what do they have to do with guns? I'm not sure I follow... Ah! So there can be guns in Oblivion. I wasn't sure. :) And these bases will probably help quite a bit. Are you a modder? Dwemer are basically the TES stock "high tech" race, they stayed in Vvardenfell and built robots, machines, techno-weapons and that dwemer armour you find floating about the game before mysteriously disappearing forever into the void (you'd have to confirm that as I'm not up on the high fantasy knowledge of it all :P) I think I'll be paying a visit to aforementioned apachii store in that case :D.

I dunno if I'm too comfortable mixing Stokers Dracula and the Hellsing series but I suppose it could work :). Imo it would look better if we outfitted them with anime costumes instead of traditional 18th century ones. Also I'm in agreement with a time shift, maybe stage the second part of a quest in a different world zone (because you get turned by Alucard after receiving fatal wounds during the Dracula battle on the order of Professor Hellsing?) (recreate London? *nods frantically*) one where you couldn't get back to Tamriel's worldspace, replace the swords with guns and maybe add some new magic for Alucard's art forms (which he could teach you  ) Invading the castle with 6 guys and fighting (I assume Dracula would have minions too) would be such a lag fest on my comp :L I can barely go into a dungeon with a party of 2-3 guys and play enjoyably. But I suppose that's my problem  . This mod would take some amount of work O.o.

Changing companions races
sanguine18 replied to sanguine18's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
That's brilliant thanks I'll give it a look  -
Agreed!!! :D. (not a modder but I'm just here to shamelessly throw myself behind this idea  ) It would be totally cool if you could get the Hellsing organisation as a joinable faction (sans guns of course, but I think it would still be fun) and you could work with Alucard and Seras to save Tamriel from a ghoul invasion !  .

Hey people, This is probably going to end up sounding like a totally noobie question (I'm not a modder but I like to dabble :P ) but how do you change the races of companions in Oblivion? I've tried simply changing their race in the editor and loading it up but it crashes before it gets to the main menu, is there any way to overcome this?. I'm talking about non-CM but finding out how to do it with CM partners would be a bonus too :D. Thanks, Sanguine.
