  1. You can run it at low (maybe medium) graphics but even then it won't be 60fps. I have 4 GB VRAM, 12 GB RAM, a quad core i7 processor running at 70 Gflops and 2.7 Ghz with hyper threading enabled. I ran witcher at low graphics and I could only run it at 30 FPS at low graphics. I returned it.
  2. 1. Do you have LOOT? If you don't already please download it immediately, this will tell you about mod incompatibilities, errors and is essential for the next step. [This is Essential for every mod user anyway and is really useful] 2. Check for errors, incompatibilities, requirements you missed. After using TES5EDIT to order up your mods scroll down the list and check for red and yellow dialogue boxes with info in them, this will tell you about errors and incompatibilities. Take action accordingly. 3. Get TES 5 Edit and cleanup! Lookup, on YouTube, how to cleanup mods using TES 5 Edit. This will increase FPS, and most importantly reduce CTD's [For future reference that means Crash To Desktop] and freezing. If you don't know which mods need "cleaning" go to LOOT and it should tell you what mods aren't clean. Best, Ibrahim
  3. I'd like some information: 1. Do you have LOOT? If you don't already please download it immediately, this will tell you about mod incompatibilities, errors and is essential for the next step. 4. I doubt it requires specs this great I think I agree with Ben, they could be overstating for whatever reason, however looking at these http://www.highdefdigest.com/uploads/jb/fallout1.jpg I think you still need a decent graphics card. I find the character models still aren't as good as the rest of the new games. It seems that the skin textures and beards look really good!
  5. First off: You should have directly contacted the mod author but I'll help you out anyway. Please link me to the mod you installed and I can help you out, don't uninstall Skyrim as this can be a hassle. If you are new to modding and don't want to take the time to learn I reccomend using the steam workshop as that is totally hassle free and super quick, along with the fact that it syncs your data across your PC's and macs. This isn't mandatory but can serve as a huge boost and can prevent file corruption and crashes: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/? Please watch a few tutorials on how to add mods using MO as it can be confusing even with the great tutorial. Note: If you pirated your Skyrim (got it from a torrent or a website) there's a good chance it's very old and 90% of mods don't work on it.
  6. Hey, I watched a few dark souls videos after hearing that it's like Skyrim (not really) and I've decided that I'm finally going to buy it, I am however not sure whether or not to buy Scholars of the first sin or the normal Dark Souls with the season pass, I know Scholars of the first sin is cheaper but it seems inconvenient to find "DLC keys" other than that does SoFS have any advantages like faster loading, better graphics or anything? Thanks
  7. Actually I bought a limited edition 15R with 4GB RAM but with a high end 275$ CPU, my "plan" was to manually upgrade the RAM later, myself. Anyway, as always, thanks for being a great help.
  8. Hey guys I've had a Dell 15R since about a year and a half, it has an extra RAM slot so I thought I'd give it 4 or 8 gigs more, I haven't ever tinkered with my laptop's hardware, I made a PC for my friend and that's the only hardware tinkering experience I have. I just wanted to ask whether there's any specific RAM size for a laptop or not. This is the RAM I wanted to buy: http://www.shophive.com/kingston-ddr3-8gb-pc1600-so-notebook The title says notebook, does that mean there's actually different RAM sizes for laptops and desktops? How do I check the size of my RAM slot? [i know the location] Thanks
  9. On a lighter note and one of windows 10's plus points: http://imgur.com/4uUSxeb We finally get our favourite feature from windows 98 back, as to those who said windows 10 was "bug free" you clearly were mistaken. Courtesy 9gag
  10. Just saw this on 9gag: http://imgur.com/4uUSxeb So excited, windows 10 is finally bringing back our favourite feature from it's older versions! Thank Bill!
  11. I'm assuming this is on Skyrim because it's the most commonly modded game. Okay, I think I can help you out on this but I need some info. 1. Do you use LOOT? 2. Do you use TES 5 Edit? 3. Is this occurring on one game or only Skyrim? 4. If you do the the apps listed above (properly of course) and this error still occurs then run Nexus mod manager, then run Skyrim then give me your DxDiag.
  12. From what I can see: 1. NMM isn't the problem, you're using LOOT and that's the problem. 2. Your chances of getting help are higher if you use the correct forum, I'm getting tired of this, it isn't breaking any rules of course but it'll help you out. Here's how you can fix your error: 1. Learn how to use TES 5 Edit, if you don't have it get it from the Nexus mods website. YouTube is the easy way to learning how to use it. 2. Run LOOT, tell it to arrange your plugins, apply it. 3. Clean the master files that need cleaning, this helps fix errors and speeds up your Skyrim significantly. Good luck!
  13. Before doing anything make sure you've: 1. Installed and used LOOT, LOOT organizes your plugins list for maximum compatibility LOOT Link: https://loot.github.io/ 2. Cleaned your masterlists using TES V Edit How to use TES V Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fw3g_N1jcZQ TES V Edit: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/? 3. Got all the required files for all your mods. If you have an the CTD's continue proceed to my first fix. What do? Install all your mods one by one and after installing every mod replay the transformation animation to diagnose your issue. If you think it's a lot of hard work you should know it'll only take 10 minutes. Imagine me, I installed 140 mods and started the game to confirm which one was causing my CTD, and I've done this 7 times in my short life. Specifically I recommend following the mod author's instructions to the dot to prevent any CTD's (In-case you don't know what that means it means Crash to Desktop ) As far as I can tell this is a standard thing most mod users do. Fix no work work! Musica233 angry! Musica smash! Chill out man. Follow these easy steps to fixing your Skyrim, if you're lazy and willing to re-download Skyrim skip to the 3rd fix. 1.Copy the Skyrim Directory in "C:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common" and paste it on your desktop. We're going to call this folder on your desktop "SkyDesk". 2. Launch steam and go to your library. 3. Right click on TES V and select "Delete Local Content", this should uninstall all of the Skyrim files except the mod files! 4. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim" and note down the names of all the remaining files inside it (not folders, just files). 5. Go to SkyDesk, locate all those files (These are third party mod files so no real harm should come) and delete all the files that you noted down. 6. Paste SkyDesk into the "C:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common" folder. 7. Go to the NMM and uninstall ALL your mods. 8. Restart your PC. 9. Install your mods one by one using the method given in Fix No.1. Samosa! Your 2nd fix didn't work either!! In the unlikley event that this didn't (This actually happened to me once, check it out: http://forums.nexusm...c#entry27645285) your best bet is to follow these steps. This is simple but a last resort move. 1. Go to the directory "C:\Users\IBRAHIM\Documents\My Games\Skyrim" and copy the whole directory and all it's contents into a safe location say a folder on your desktop. 2. Launch steam and go to your library. 3. Right click on TES V and select "Delete Local Content", this should uninstall all of the Skyrim files. 4. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common" 5. Delete the Skyrim directory. 6. Reinstall Skyrim. 7. Paste the files you copied in step one back to their original location 8. Install the mods one by one and after installing every mod make sure your Skyrim is working properly. 9. Done! Have fun.

  15. that's why. IS this the mod ? http://s26.postimg.org/jfhtckn0p/Towns_and_vilages_Sky.jpg Yes it is, I backed up my saves and reinstalled TES V so it doesn't really matter :( But I don't see how disabling this mod could cause harm?
  16. A few things to try: 1. Don't take it off. Too much of a chance of breaking the tiny retainer ears. You can try to firmly push straight down on the key to get it to reseat. If it will not snap in place, probably will have to send it to HP for a new keyboard. The new systems have a double retainer with really small tips that actually lock into the back of the key. I have never been able to find the parts and it takes tweezers or really small hemostats to get them in place properly. If only one of the small tips is broken, it will never seat properly. 2. Visit a repair shop and they'll fix it for a few dollars. 3. Alternative: Please make this a last resort & handle with EXTREME care] Shut down the PC. If it's a laptop, unplug it as well, but leave it open. Turn the keyboard--or the open laptop--over, and gently tap the back. If it's a laptop, be very, very gentle. Concentrate, of course, on the dead keys. Put the keyboard or laptop down, right-side-up. Use a can of compressed air to spray out any dust between the keys. You can buy such a can at any computer store; I've seen them on sale online for as little as $3. They always come with a thin straw. Use that to direct the air between the keys. If you have a desktop, you can also untwist a paperclip, and carefully use it to pry out dirt. But that's too dangerous for a laptop, where the keyboard probably sits on other, more important electronics. If a cleaning doesn't help, you'll have to repair or replace the keyboard. If you have a desktop, just replace it. External keyboards don't cost much (some cost less than $10), and are easy to install. But laptop keyboards are difficult and expensive to repair or replace. Unless you're extremely comfortable working with tiny, closely-packed circuitry, I strongly recommend bringing your laptop to a professional. There is one other option for laptop users: Buy an external keyboard. Some of them, like the Goldtouch Go! Travel Keyboard, are quite small and designed for easy carrying. Your laptop will lose some portability, but not all of it. Source(s): http://www.pcworld.com/article/2025044/answer-line-ive-got-a-dead-key-on-my-keyboard.html Hope I helped.

  18. Just spit-balling here, it's probably net-immerse override is totally bugged. When I installed netimmerse overdrive none of my NPC's gave me quests, the game stopped registering that I had completed a quest or a stage in a quest. When I tried to start a new game [i suspected my game had been corrupted for reasons unknown to me] none of the NPC's talked, they only moved their heads, no subtitles or audio was there either and I experienced frequent crashes. Net-immerse is very buggy. If you have xp32 maximum skeleton extended I belive you don't require XP32 maximum skeleton xpms 1.94. rs children overhaul is only graphical but can cause graphics bugs and animation bugs (did for me) Strange that this is happening to you since you have very few mods. Hope I helped, Good Luck
  19. http://www.nexusmods.com/dyinglight/mods/17/? Have fun.
  20. It would be best if you tried contacting the mod author, other than that make sure you've selected only the necessary animations in FNIS. Recheck if you uninstalled everything correctly. Try to set your fade distances a little higher, low fade distance causes glitches with first person mods. If the mod author doesn't reply or if this stuff doesn't work I can't seem to figure an alternative. You could try to add the enhanced camera mod that I used. It has no bugs and no uninstallation issues as far as I can tell. [http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57859/?] The problem with mods that replace graphics and/or animations is that in most cases they cause bugs (clipping, textureless models) Sorry I couldn't be of much help but hopefully something works.
  21. It's almost impossible to not use these services. If I buy an Android smartphone I have to create a gmail account, if I get an iPhone I have to make an account. iPhones have imessage present in them since the begging, android mobiles have various applications pre-installed. Sure tech-savvy people like you and I can create a customized OS without useless apps but 99% of people cannot do that. A year ago I was pretty crazy about all this stuff, all my backups were encrypted, I changed my computer's DNS adress regularly, I spoofed my MAC, I had 2 VPN's (I still use a VPN but for different reasons) but there's really no point since I have nothing at all to hide. It's obviously unfair that they're stealing our data but if one doesn't want their data stolen so bad then they'll have to completely cut themselves off from the world which is pretty much impossible.
  22. I think I'll go with the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy theory. The Earth is the universes largest and most complex computer, the size of a small celestial body.
  23. 1. Get the FNIS fix from the "updates" section of the FNIS mods page. 2. Uninstall FNIS 3. Install FNIS 4. Install the fix, when/if it asks you if you want to upgrade say "no" and then when it asks you if it can overwrite say yes to all. 5. Run FNIS Note: If this doesn't work contact Fore [Mod creator], he literally said you should contact him if this error appears. Also it's supposed to appear for mod authors only. Some stuff I want to point out: You need to read this post thoroughly: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1592053-how-to-ask-for-help/ This is where you're supposed to post glitches and ask for help: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/414-skyrim-technical-support/
  24. Finally bought Fallout 3
  25. Yeah, this is the Skyrim forum. I don't know of any mod that does this but a simple but lengthy and boring method is: Items 1. Not down all the items you have on a piece of paper 2. Start a new game 3. After designing your character and completing the tutorial and stuff open up the console with the tilde key 4. Search for the item you want with the help command e.g searching for a dart would be "help dart 0" the thing you search for is in the middle of the 0 and the help. 5. Now type "player.additem XXXXX A" in which XXXXX is the item ID and A is the number of that item that you want 6. Repeat with more items. Skills 1. Note down you respective skills and perks on a piece of paper 2. Press tilde to open the command console 3. Type in "player.advlevel" 4. Choose your perks and skills NOTE: TILDE IS THE "~" KEY.
