I don't feel I need to explain that. Its obvious. Profanity has nothing to do with anger or control, and everything to do with communication and language. Saying one is ok as an adult but the other isn't is like saying "weed ok, booze bad"... It's a fallacious argument. They say some of the smartest people in the world cuss the most. In any regards, its weaksauce that profanity is somehow going to shatter someones thin shell of security. And I can verbally abuse someone without any profanity or overt personal attacks. Profanity is sometimes better to get a point across. Plus, in their terms of usage, do they even stipulate what profanity is? Are we talking a G movie, PG13? What? Because the only use of a word in PG13 is the F bomb. I merely called someone a Richard. And they are. I suppose douche could've worked just as well. "Pretentious snob" just doesnt have the same pazzaz. Regardless, I've always felt humored by the idea that if you're rude, or act the fool, and someone calls you out on it- that person usually takes the heat. Garbage. I'm an artist and a musician. And even my skin is thick enough to take a little critique. Let alone someone making a mod based on someone elses tools and game system. Give me a break. (Not discrediting mod authors... I know its creative and time consuming and hella fun... but I've been around rock stars. These homies are not that lol)

Im not easily offended, nor do I care about nudity mods. As an adult, I like playing adult geared games. I was merely pointing out the hypocrisy of saying "no profanity" while at the same time allowing nude, sex, and penis mods. Lol. It's like- is this a site geared towards adults, or are we censoring? If we're censoring, why just profanity? And I stand by the blocking feature: its ridiculous, and too easily administered. Plus, Nexus as an additional kick to the balls, places that ridiculous message which belittles the person being blocked.

Not only was I erroneously blocked today, but the feature in general, is childish and mostly unnecessary. Now I'm not going to use this platform to blast the person who did the block (even though I want to because they were a completely rude), but after reading the terms and conditions by Nexus, I realized one of the "rules" were "no profanity".... which made me wonder.... ...Really? I've noticed an abundance of nudity mods, even mods that attempt to make the children look attractive (which is not only gross, but as a parent of a teen.... really yuck). Honestly, one could peruse the body and texture mods and realize not only are they mostly misogynistic, but promoting objectification of women and extreme violence. Every outfit is geared at objectifying the female body or over-sexualization. It's like a teenagers wet dream in here... Now, I'm no prude by any means, nor do these mods personally offend me....But we can't have profanity. And ANY words or comments that unhinge the brittle shells of security of the modders, gets you blocked, even from DM to said modder, in an attempt to squash the situation. What kind of horsepoo is that?? (wouldn't want to cuss and escalate the issue...rolls eyes) I can't be the only person annoyed by this lame feature, nor the ridiculousness of these terms? And to make it all even better, there's a completely belittling and rude comment left by the Nexus site when you're blocked. Look, I've been a member of this site for quite a while now (dare I almost say ten years?), and though I'm thankful for its purpose and usage... I can't help but feel... lousy. Thoughts?
