  1. There needs to be a way to disable it. It is already causing me problems like overriding my load order or disabling my mods. The Beth.net main menu mod is made for consoles (huge UI, cumbersome to navigate, limited options, can't adjust load order) and is not conducive to PC.
  2. Do you think this is true? I've seen some leaked gameplay streams, and it seemed like the people playing didn't really know what they are doing, and I believe they were simply quick-equipping weapons as you always could in the previous Bethsoft games. But I haven't been able to find any screens/videos of any player or NPC with visibly holstered weapons. Aside from the hype trailers which are not real. If I can't place my rifle on my back, or my pistol on my hip - I gotta say, I'll be pretty upset...
  3. Anyone got a line on the new .ini entries for horse camera? It's especially annoying if you use an ENB with depth of field...
  4. (Bringing up an old/defunct thread here) Would like to know if this is possible as well. It used to work in the older Beth games like Oblivion. You would just add bStaticMenuBackground=0 under the [Display] section in oblivion.ini, but it doesn't work in Skyrim (tried both skyrimpref.ini and skyrim.ini.) Given that the game keeps running while you're in a conversation, I'm sure it's possible without being game-breaking. I would like it for the difficulty and strategic planning, to be honest.
  5. Title says it all really. Came back to Oblivion recently, to scratch that itch everyone gets from time to time. Was interested in FCOM once more, and realized it's going on what looks like 3 years without updates. Is it even worth bothering with at this point, or is there something new these days? Browsing years of Oblivion mods, whilst keeping "compatibility" in mind, is daunting to say the least.
  6. I'm looking for a few mods to top off my enormous collection. I'm coming up dry in my searches and browsing on what I'm looking for, so I'll ask here.. In-a-nutshell; What I seek. NPC Immersion Mods I want to know the best mods, or the lesser known ones, that make the NPCs more personal in cities and abroad. I have Personality Idles 4, Pipe Smoking, and a few others. What I want is basically mods that that add NPCs who "breathe life" into a robotic city. NPCs that huddle in a corner and throw dice, or NPCs that mug another NPC in an alley... etc. Basically I want to see NPCs do things other than stand creepily still and just move a hand or two every now and then.. I want something more. Lockpicking I'd like to know if there are any mods that change the lock mini-game. I've only seen one or two, one that makes it so you can "only hear" the lock and others that remove it entirely, in-favor of the Morrowind insta-unlock system. I was wondering if there are any WIP or anything that totally overhaul the mini-game and/or make it seriously in-depth. That's about it.. for now. Thanks for your input.
