  1. Thanks for your answer, Dubious. I'm still on Win 7 (up to date but no meltdown/spectre patches for example, hardware too old), no unprotected network etc., just an old desktop pc for gaming. Sadly I reinstalled the Mod via FOMM so I can't upload the "jessicompanion.esp" anymore. The original one (.fomod) and the saves are clean on VirusTotal. A Virus scan on my whole system didn't find any malware nor did Malwarebytes and the system runs fine for a long time now (as far as I can tell). I had one malware alert (the only one on this system) with a file here on Nexusmods "NVAC - New Vegas Anti Crash" (the "NVME - New Vegas Memory Editor" file) a few weeks ago, but since there are so many reports of false positives in the thread and it landed in the quarantine I ignored it so far. My thought was if it could be possible that anything like NVSE, Sortomatic, JIP Companions etc. could have renamed it out of (mod)conflict/bug, since JIP Companions has an .ini file for recognising the avatars like "Jessi=jessi". But thats probably just my desperate amateurish cross-thinking and if you say that's impossible ... Maybe I should check in another forum specialised for infections. Thanks anyway.
  2. Hi guys, I have a very strange thing occurring with one of my mods respectivly save game. The mod JessiCompanion.esp was renamed to jessicompanion.esp and even after hours of searching I can't find a clue why or when this happened. I use the original "Fallout Mod Manager - FOMM" and fiddled with some companion mods like "Unlimited Followers Everywhere" and "JIP Companions Command and Control", but only with test saves. I then continued with JIP Companions Command and Control for a few hours. It was by chance that I looked up my save games in FOMM and saw the difference. The save with the changed jessicompanion.esp loaded fine and the game didn't showed any missing content message, so I don't know if it's a big problem. I'm also not sure if I should continue playing that save (or if it's corrupt) and since it was only a few hours it's not a big deal. I tried an older save together with JIP Companions Command and Control, saved it as a fresh one and Jessi stayed as JessiCompanion.esp. So I could just revert to this one. But ... I just like to know how this could happened or what causes it? Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
