  1. Seriously. Every time they do this we need to scream out our windows so loudly that they can hear it and maybe they will stop this inane business
  2. Mark of the Rift is your first Mark ability. Then, after you pick a specialization, you get another, which is rampage in the Reaver tree. While I realize that Iron Bull is a Reaver, Rampage makes NO sense for the inquisitor to use. It gives you +10% attack speed and +10% damage and 10% lifesteal at level 1. Look, the lifesteal is meh. If you can't keep your HP up on reaver then you can't play Reaver. The lifesteal is meaningless, and it actually just decreases your damage output IF you rely on low HP to increase your damage. The attack speed makes no sense because Reavers spam devour and dragon rage a lot. In 10 seconds you will barely end up attacking a few times. You will spam abilities. Okay. So then you get a flat 10% damage buff. Ok? So there are like 50 other abilities that give you way more than that, and they don't cost so much focus. ALTERNATIVELY Consider the Mark of the Rift AOE ability. Lasts roughly as long. FIRST IT'S AOE, totally has the opportunity to multiply its damage output by 2x-5x YOU CAN ALSO HIT PEOPLE WITH YOUR REGULAR REAVER ABILITIES during this time, so a full 90% of Rampage-enhanced damage is STILL GOING TO BE GETTING PUT DOWN IN THE FIGHT WHILE MARK OF THE RIFT IS ACTIVE Rampage is useless! In order for it to be useful for Reavers we have to insist that our Reaver tree is different from Iron Bull's tree. The inquisitor has to get something that is competitive with Mark of the Rift. Perhaps the idea is that the inquisitor uses the reaver's specialization for a long-term benefit that is focused on winning a fight. It doesn't MAKE you win the fight but it's meant for that, not just point and click delete that mark of the rift does. for 25, 30, and 35 seconds by Focus level you should get some kind of significant damage resistance. Like 20% general resist. Add 5 guard on hit. Reduce ALL stamina costs by 40%. And maybe something else. idk. Whatever is better than what it currently is.
  3. I have been struggling with this complicated bug for a very very long time. It's kept me from playing this game for like 4 years because I couldn't fix it at the time. My game was fine all the way to getting the elder scroll read by a dwemer piece of technology (Discerning the Transmundane) and I also had an issue with getting the snow elves' teleportation things to come out of the ground. They just would not come out of the ground, like the script making them come out of the ground was missing or something. You know - in the dawnguard DLC? I got past that by just forcing the quest forward. I have no idea what caused it and how to even fix that. However, this time, in the dwemer ruin with discerning the transmundane, after inserting the Lexicon into the receptacle in elder scroll reader, you know how you need to hit four buttons to do the puzzle? Well, the buttons 100% don't respond. I can press two of them that open up on the right. Pressing them makes them go down, but they do absolutely nothing. I can press them as much as I want, but nothing changes. (the other buttons won't become pressable and unshielded) Another thing (very end of video) I notice - when other people put in the lexicon at the start, the machine has a sound response. My game doesn't do that at all. Only the two buttons on the right unfurl and make a noise. The reading mechanism doesn't make a sound like in the video. Does anyone know how I could even get started on troubleshooting this? I will seriously go to any lengths to try to fix it. I know that when the issue occurred, I tried savegame scanner or script cleaner. I was thinking, maybe a script is missing? But yeah it gets very hard after that. And I don't even know if scripts are the problem and when I look at the scripts I don't even know what I'm looking at. I will go to go and PM modders and people for advice if I have to and learn modding. The website probably wouldn't allow it but I will even pay a modder to help fix it or help me understand wtf is going on. Idfk. Because at this point I can't just start over every time I hit a bug. Help appreciated. I don't even know where I should start! maybe a modder will be able to help provide guidance since they would know what's the issue here?
  4. I mean, I never really stop modding skyrim to be honest. But I've been trying to finish TW3 for 3 years now among others, so I haven't done any Skyrim, and it's always frustrating to go through long processes of CTD troubleshooting and all. But anyways- that old account, with its associated favorited mods and stuff.. it's gone. I made a random gmail alt a long time ago (I can prove I have the email address) and for some reason Gmail has decided to pull a yahoo on me. I'm never going to get that account back. Huge loss of trust in them now, going to start using protonmail, but too late. But the main thing is, please help me recover my old nexus account. It's this one here https://www.nexusmods.com/users/6517812 It has a list of favorites which is really important to me, mainly. It'd be nice to keep using it too but I understand that it might be hard to get access to an old account back. In short I would like to know everything I can prove or show to make this as easy as possible if there are any mods etc who could help. I can absolutely provide real proof that should not be known unless I'm the real account holder. Just to point out, I'm even ok with not having access but just having the lists of saved mods/followed mods. That's all I need although access to my old account would be nice. If I can change the email away from dumb gmail that would be great too.
