  1. I hadn't played in half a year so I updated Skyrim, pruned through old mods, and installed some new ones. Since then I've been playing over the past few days and have had no issues whatsoever. Now today I bought Dawnguard, ran BOSS, installed a couple of mod updates, and installed new drivers for my graphics card. When I came back I had this issue (see attached screenshot). Essentially any time I'm in first person and am around water, smoke, etc. I get this ugly white border around my hands and weapons. The closer I get to the water source, the larger the white distortion gets. The white graphical glitch moves consistently with the water, smoke etc. moving in the background. I first thought it was my graphic card drivers because I had just updated them, but I rolled back to the previous version with a clean driver install and it's still happening. I also went through each of the newly updated mods and disabled them one-by-one and checked in game and it's still an issue. I can list my installed mods if that will help. Research into this hasn't yielded much help, anti-aliasing settings don't effect it in the slightest, and it was not happening whatsoever before. Any help would be appreciated, it's very distracting when I play. Thanks! UPDATE: So it first showed up while I was inside of the Moonpath to Elsweyr mod. Everywhere inside that mod I encounter that problem, but when I went outside (say to the lake north of Falkreath) it didn't happen. It happened again indoors in another area of the game, except that time the color around the hands/weapons was a dark yellow. It seems like the color matches whatever the ambient light source color is set to. So I'm still looking for help if anyone as any ideas. UPDATE 2: In case anyone else encounters this problem this is how I fixed it: My Documents/My Games/Skyrim/Skyrim.ini add the line "fNear1stPersonDistance=0.0000" in the Display section. Haven't noticed any other changes other than the weird corruption going away, but now everything is pretty again!
