How do I delete my account?
Deleted11834868User replied to Deleted11834868User's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Thank you :) -
Not sure where else to stick this. I couldn't find a request forum and I see no way to do it in my account settings or anything. How can I delete my account?

Hey everybody. I can't seem to get Fallout Redesigned 2 to work perfectly. No matter what I do, Sunny Smiles looks just.. kind of creepy. Her eyebrows are super light and there are weird black rings around the tops of her eyes. Also an exaggerated neck seam, more so than anyone else in the game. I'm re-installing (not because of that - I went a little haywire with manual re-textures; I'm settling for a fresh start with vanilla textures on ultra) and I'd like to know what to do to fix this. I know it's kind of minuscule and not important, but I was planning on using her as a companion, and she just looks so damn weird. Plus, I just like doing things right lol. Archive Invalidation turned off and on Correct entries in Fallout default, Fallout and FalloutPrefs Nothing was particularly dodgy about my load order. Additionally, would anyone recommend Redesigned 3 or FCO over 2? I'm not new to modding, but I am kind of new trying to get my NPCs to look slightly better. Whenever I try it just doesn't seem to come out quite right. Cheers.

In response to post #24582509. #24582854, #24583264, #24583329, #24583634 are all replies on the same post. With all due respect to your effort and work, those 'drive-by' compliments are actual compliments, and only meaningless if you yourself choose to not care about them, not the other way around. For someone who feels there's no reward, you've doubtlessly spent a huge amount of time on a great many mods with a sea of well-made content in each. Go for it you want, or hold up if you don't, but don't spit mod users over a fire to justify it.

I notice you're using several mods that modify similar things, especially the levelled list, as well as SkyRe. Even though you've got a patch and the reproccer, you cans till run into problems, especially if you're using a few mods (like morrowloot) that specifically state how incompatible they can be. It's likely there's a little incompatibility/discrepancy somewhere; the reproccer/bashed patch is not completely infallible, I've had more than a few problems in the past with both. There are some mods the reproccer won't even effect, even though it says it does, and you have to take manual steps for compatibility (Conan Hyborian Age quest mod, for instance).

I figured I'd share an idea that inspired me to try my hand at digital art and modelling ages ago, which I've just been reminded of as I've started a Morrowind playthrough, modded with several concept replacers. I think one or two sets of seriously ornate, detailed, haughty and fancy bonemold armors would fit in very, very well with the nostalgia of the Dragonborn DLC, in a very similar way to how the one Silt Strider on Solstheim works, hearkening back to Morrowind's Nerevarine days; a bit of a golden age considering the impending doom it faced soon after. While the bonemold in Morrowind wasn't exactly as fantastical as Kirkbride's conceptual work, there are some mods that have attempted to restore that, and I think a touch of it could potentially be brought to Skyrim, especially with the tools available now. Lot's of bits and pieces, bandoleers, flowing robes and capes made with fine materials, segmented armor and banners with Daedric text. The DLC added armors and the Bonemold Expanded mod are both fantastic, but this is another animal altogether. I think it'd work perfectly on it's own, or with a super minimalist quest along with it, in the style of the awesome mod Thrassian Plaguesword (some letters explaining why it's there and a hint as to where it is, a one room dungeon with a single enemy, and done.) Not so much a request, just an idea I've had for ages, and I figured I'd throw it out there in case anyone found it interesting :) if I hadn't failed, this would either be a WIP or fully released by now, but it's no joke to say it'd probably not be a quick job. Cheers! (I'd upload an image, but I goofed up and it's not letting me now. A Google image search for "michael kirkbride art" will do the trick, apologies.)

Hi everyone. I've used OneHud without issue for my last two games. This time, with an identical load order, it's running into some problems. At first, it was just the vanilla set up, even though all of OneHud's additions were active and 'working'. I all hud items to disappear til combat, tested it, nothing. So I saved, quit, and reloaded, and they'd all disappeared, but they wouldn't re-appear in combat. The MCM controls do nothing. I re-installed and put it past Project Nevada in the .esm section, just incase. Still nothing shows up. Not sure how to get this working. Anyone had any similar problems? Cheers.

Somewhat ironically, as I'd just given the method I use to get MGE XE working for me for several months, something extremely bizarre has just happened. I just made a fresh installation of Morrowind from Steam, as I often do, no problems ever arise. I copy and pasted the MGE XE from the Nexus (http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/41102/?), which never worked on its own - I had to copy over it with the patch from here: http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/26348/? Then it would work. This is the only method that's ever worked for me, with any version of MGE. I don't know why. I checked to make sure it was working, and it was. So, I preceded to install the first round of mods; all well used by me, tried and tested, no bugs or errors ever. When I checked to make sure the game would run as a precaution, the resolution was all bungled up, like in the vanilla Steam version. So I ran MGE XE, and it gave me the same message I'd avoided all this time, the 'can't find, run Morrowind as administrator before running this' one. It's weird, because I'd already installed it, checked it was working, and ran the game twice with it working. It just randomly quit working, for no reason. This is very specific and very odd, but does anyone have any ideas on what to do? I've tried everything I can think of to get it to run, and it won't now. Even re-installed Steam to a different location. Cheers if anyone can help.

This is what I do, and I haven't needed to move my installation. First, run the Morrowind.exe as an administrator, go to the main menu in the game itself, and then quit. Second, download it from here specifically: http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/41102/? Copy everything, and place it in your steam/steamapps/common/Morrowind directory - where the main Morrowind .exe is. Put it all in there. And lastly, go here: http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/26348/? Download the MGE file available. Once downloaded, copy all of it and stick it in the Morrowind directory again, it should overwrite several files. Run MGE from this directory as an administrator, and it should open and work fine. Tell me how it goes. I was in the same boat and no version but that one worked for me.

What mod is this?
Deleted11834868User replied to Deleted11834868User's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Thank you Nivea! I looked for that for a good half hour, was starting to think it wasn't on the Nexus. Must have gone right past it. -
Hi everyone, pretty much as advertised, what mod is the high collared kevlar looking vest (middle) from in this image? Does anyone know?

Recommended dragon mod?
Deleted11834868User replied to Deleted11834868User's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Cheers guys, I appreciate the insight! And yeah, I'm a little desperate to get that fat dragon in my game. I don't care how, I just want him in there. Thanks again :) -
Hey everybody I'm very familiar with Deadly Dragons; I've used it successfully for ages. Recently a few new dragon mods have been released, and I was wondering everyone's opinions on them, I've been away for a few months. What are your opinions on The New Dragons vs Elemental Dragons? I know Elemental Dragons is incompatible with Deadly Dragons, but I'm willing to try something new if it's better. Which would you recommend? Or should I just stick with trusty ol' DD? Cheers everyone.

Hi everyone. As stated in the title, it's not letting me choose the better option. No matter what fix I've tried out of the seemingly hundreds available, the NV launcher will not allow me to select or use anything but the integrated Intel HD 4000. This is before or after I installed NVSE/4GB Fallout, either way it makes no difference. This gives me 30ish fps on a modded game, as long as I don't have a single retexture or added effect. It won't allow me to select my AMD Radeon HD 8700M, and I can't get it to run with it at all. The dedicated card obviously isn't perfect for gaming, but will take my automatic settings for Skyrim from Low to Ultra, and allow me to play it pretty heavily modded. I'm on a Samsung laptop with Windows 8. Does anyone have kind of a tired and tested method of getting it to use the correct one? Thanks much in advance if anyone can help. EDIT: Just thought I'd add I'd already tried disabling the Intel, all it does is register the basic windows driver. No mention of the AMD Radeon.

Is this from a mod? Tamriel Re-Built maybe? I've never seen it before, but I just found it on a blog. Either way it's amazing o.O Cheers.

Coming back to Skyrim modding, Need help.
Deleted11834868User replied to Hexaphobia's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I don't think there's too much you'll need to do for optimization if you have a powerful system to make a heavily modded game possible. However, if you want an ENB, then the instructions on the page for the local ini, Skyrim ini and Skyrim Prefs will probably be listed in the page of the respective ENB. Then again, if you'd rather really push for the fps and not use an ENB, still get ENBoost. http://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost - a really useful guide on getting it working. If, for whatever reason, you're like me, and Skyrim/ENBoost refuses to run the correct graphics card, instead using the integrated one, use this. http://www.[Blocked URL: Spamming mod authors with advertising links]/mods/skyrim/skyrim-better-performance Also, if you use it along with ENBoost, remember to rename the new d3d9.dll to something like d3d9x.dll, and go into ENB local.ini to add it to the proxy library. Also remember to get SKSE. Once you have that, download the preset .ini tweaks. I find them very useful. It's just so you don't have to go through and add them manually/individually. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51038/? And, as always, remember to fix z-fighting if your system can handle it. This will pretty much eliminate any distance/mountain flickering, at the cost of loading a lot of extra stuff very far away. http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Z-Fighting#tab=What_is_your_fix_3F That should get you started. A lot of mods for everything have been updated in the time you've been away, and some staples for a load order have gone outdated. Remember to check the posts and dates, and go through the files of the month. I'd also check out a YouTube channel, Brodual. They're probably the best channel for regular popular mods; going back over some time will give you some great ones. Enjoy :) -
Morning everyone, I'm looking for a mod that I've seen floating around some Chinese sites and Japanese mod blogs that includes Bofur's hat from The Hobbit films. I love that hat. I just found a mod featured on Dragonporn called Kuromimi followers, and includes a follower with the hat. However, I'm not much of a follower guy, especially pretty ones (Hoth ftw) and I'd rather just download the hat mod, *if* it exists in that form. Can anyone help? Can't seem to find it myself. Probably hindered by my complete lack of Japanese lol.

Hey everybody. I'm on a non-gaming laptop, but I can get it to run things alright. When playing Skyrim, it (or perhaps Steam) would refuse to use my proper graphics card, instead using my integrated one, the Intel HD4000. ENBoost Injector never worked for me, but I found a d3d9.dll that forced it to use the right one. With that, my FPS was excellent, and I could even run a few ENBs and some serious retextures, otherwise impossible. Are there any known similar tricks or ways to get New Vegas to recognize the right card? It's still using my Intel, and nothing I'm doing seems to work, either on Steam or NVSE. Cheers to anyone who can help.

Good female follower mod?
Deleted11834868User replied to Deleted11834868User's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Haha I see, I didn't know that! Thanks for the info, I'll put it to good use. Yeah I know what you mean. I personally don't mind the looks much at all, I really liked that follower called Rigmor of Bruma, but the latest update has caused a bit too many issues. Now it's a big quest instead of a follower with a backstory, and there's a lot of little problems with it. He's still working on it, but until it's ironed out I'll wait (since I'm trying to make this playthrough as lightweight and compatible as possible), -

Good female follower mod?

Achem..The best "Female" followers out there.. withdraws to his library brandishing a pipe and a large glass of port. Literally had that with some stilton and rosemary crackers two nights ago. Port and a pipe is a classic <3 Excellent options guys, I'm hearing a lot of good stuff about Arissa so I'll probably check her out first. Going for a fresh re-installation so I wanted to have decided by tonight, cheers for the help everybody :D -
Good female follower mod?
Deleted11834868User replied to Deleted11834868User's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I'll take a look at Arissa. It seems like she might be my best bet. I adore that mod. The only problem I'm having is it seems, for whatever bizarre reason, to cause some lag in my game, as well as turning my laptop from kind of warm to pits of hell hot. I'm not sure why this is, since I didn't think NPCs made a difference to game performance. Maybe it's all the dialogue/sheer size of the mod? I'm not sure. It just seems to be the mod that always tips it over the edge. -
Hey guys, sorry for the long title. A quick explanation; I played New Vegas til my head exploded on the PS3 when it first came out. I got it for PC two years ago to try and mod it and get back in, but I was just so burnt out. I've tried a few times since then and I keep losing interest fast, and I think part of it is because I'm not modding it right, and the way it looks is just over-done. What are the best body replacers and retextures for character models? I don't have a gaming PC but I can handle a few heavy-ish ones (for example, I can play Skyrim on ultra with mods, but an ENB for it is a no-go). Thanks to anyone who can help :) Bonus question if anyone cares: Do you guys ever do anything besides go to Primm/the outpost/Nipton at a new game? I'm so tired of playing that route but I can't think of another, since my character is always out for revenge on Benny. It feels required :P
-
Hey guys. Right now I'm using zero body replacers and only SkySight males and True Daughters of Skyrim, to help save my poor laptop (still looks great, but you know). I'm looking for a good female follower mod that doesn't require other bodies, and maybe is custom voiced. Right now I've got Inigo and Hoth, and that's it, so I'd like to mix it up a little. I tried Vilja, but unfortunately I'm one of those people who instantly hated her voice. No disrespect to those who put work in, I appreciate that, I just don't like it myself. Any suggestions/good reports? Thanks.
