  1. you can use nifscope.

     

    open 2. in 1 have your base model & in the other open alsorts of things you want to use & then copy the meshes into your 1st 1 & move them about to where you want them.

     

    iv been meshin about makeing a gauss sniper rifle.

  2. ok give me the kudos ;)

     

    1) extract the mesh & armour.

    2) make a folder in each "data/mesh/Rixirite?" "data/texture/Rixirite?"

    3) put the mesh in your mesh folder & the texture in your texture folder.

    4) name the mesh & texture something diffrent like Rixirite's armour "thay can be the same name"

    5) make your texture.

    6) goto your mesh folder & open the armour mesh with nifscope.

    7) click on the armour mesh "make shure its the armour?. then click the + so you see the options. click the othere + under it & youl see the flower things!. click on the topone with the writeing next to it & then go to your folder your texture is in & select it. save.

    8) open the geck. & goto items, armour.

    9) click on an armour & give it a new id name & a name like you did with your mesh.

    10) now goto the "BIPED MODEL" & select the top edit button. goto your mesh in your folder & select it. now click ok & select yes.

    11) save.

    12) preview it.

    13) take a screenie & show us all...

  3. thought id show of some goodies to stur up some intrest :)

     

    im just relaxing & takeing this mod casualy. !seems to be working as iv done bttr than when i was rushing it! haha. but it still moveing to slowly for its size?. callie hope you got some progress to post a good looking screenie???.

     

    anyway need to work on some new textures for a lot of wepons & iv totaly redone the smartgun "the lastone was a mess "mesh wise" so this will look a hole lot bettr than the one i uped earlyer.

     

    iv also just finished one of my rewards, it will be at the end of the main quest & has added a good dimention to it. & fits the fallout3 dlc5 story well so im quite proud :D.

  4. unfortunatly i think your stuck with it.

     

    i can see your ok with a's as it will look like an a on the other side, maby try doing it like this "III","II" ect ect when you come to 5 just do 4 IIII & then put 1 thru the middle. it dosnt look so bad.

     

    the only other thing you can do is open the armour in a 3d program & add a flat panel onto the shoulder & put the texture on that instead.

  5. I suggest using TESAnwynn to make a worldspace.

     

    The water level is buggy. The safe thing to set the water level at 10500 and any ground higher.

    If you haven't read this worldspace tutorial, it's really helpful.

     

    You may want to trick the player's sense of space by placing invisble walls in the right areas. That way, you won't need to detail the worldspace too much.

     

    hope your not givein tutorial there & not getting with your own worldspace, a51 :verymad: tch tch tch

    you should post in the general discutions thread & say, look guys im new to modding is there anyone else hear want to get into it & we will try to make a mod.

     

    everyone in hear is a modder or experienced? & not 15. and im looking forward to seeing your mod get of the ground :thumbsup:

  7. im kinda agreeing with everyone hear.

     

    on one hand i m tempted to post screenies of my mod but on the other i want to bring it out complete & revel in the glory of this never heard of supermod.

     

    but in this case, you could put pics or screenies of what youv done but not give the story away?, or say something like well iv been doing this myself & it has x-amount of factions & a new worldspace or its a mod that adds 1million new wepons ect ect?

    if i was to mess with it then it would take scripting & alsorts of work to make it a hack device or to put something meaningfull to it & im just takeing my time with a diffrent mod.

     

    trying to give you guys the best dlc yet or unofical dlc :D haha. plas im going with this one.

    iv been lyin in my bed trying to thigure out how to get the boot to act as a storage to & i seen you done it with the tank!. nice one lol its been pugling me for.... well untill you posted saying you managed it haha.

  9. hey jack, looking at that laptop thing on the pool-table, see those angular shadows, those appear when there is agressive triangulation, like from those round shapes that seem to be all tapered off to the corner. If you even out the cuts, perhaps by adding a division or two between each circle that runs through the mesh, then connect your stray edges to that new seam, it will eliminate your angle-shadows that appear. That or its a problem with the surface topology of that region, ie, might not be perfectly flat.

     

    i put the wepons ingame & am just messing with whatever else i get.

     

    i think kelly has passed on the wepons to someone else to iron out the sounds & tweek them a bit.

     

    im messing with my mod now. quite happy how its gomeing along.

  10. the 1st dlc seemed im my opinion to had been well thought of & had a good bit of effort in it.

     

    then as thay moved along the dlc train thay became slacker & slacker. theres a lot of items in the zeta mod but no names for them & the hole think stinks of a rush job to me.

     

    all i found myself doing as running around the ship shooting stuff & that seemed the just of it. a bit of diversity woulda been nice.

    anyway im got some brillant ideas & if the world aint big enuth then there a poo load of other ???? gona get death whooped lol.

  11. its a wee bit funny.

     

    the manqin mod i tryed to replicate has stone textures for the skin so that it looks like a manqin. so now i got this statue standind there swaying about haha.

     

    iv toyed with the idea of lifting it off the ground & placeing wires so it looks like its swinging?. failing that then its a visit to 3d studio & a bit of editing to make the clothing/armours look like there hanging on the wall or something.

  13. thought id start a general mod talk thread.

    after playing zeta & finishing it, i liked the bit where the girl says "its your ship & your the captin" weeeee.

     

    i was toying with some ideas about putting a stargate or something that would let me goto a difrent planet. iv already got a shuttle for a moon mission but this kinda opens the door to a hole new way of thinking mod wise dont it. "hell i probably dont need a space shuttle anymore".

     

    anyone else getting a whole set of new ideas :D
