  1. Apparently the mod was deleted by Nexus, so I assume the author broke some rules. Just search the mod name on youtube and you'll find the author's channel, where he has the mod linked in google drive form.
  2. I have this problem too, but don't use either of those mods.
  3. I never installed any other version of the mod, I picked up the mod at the latest version. I see the extra aliens as classes in the character pool, but if I pick them the character still looks human. They don't show up anywhere else in the base game. After I installed the Uniform Management mod they again showed up as classes in the uniform manager, but that's it.
  4. @ davidlallen, I'm using the April 16th version from here (the nexus), which by the update date on both sites should be the same version as the one on the workshop.
  5. The advent classes show up in the Character Pool but I can't train the new units in the proving ground.
  6. So I was looking around google images just now and stumbled upon this amazing concept art for a female draugr by the late Adam Adamowicz, the man who basically singlehandedly designed Skyrim and I instantly fell in love with the weapon she was holding. As you can see in the image below the weapon is a very long katana with a hilt almost as long as the blade and with a pommel matching the style of the other ancient nordic and nordic weapons in the game. When I saw this I couldn't help but picture such a weapon in the style of the nord weapons added by Dragonborn, with the same bluish sheen to the metal, the tight leather wrappings, and the tufts of black fur. So I decided what the hell, might as well put this in the mod request section on the nexus and see if any of the many talented modders out there think, like me, that this sword seriously needs to see the light of day. http://i.imgur.com/1RuPb0R.jpg
  7. Heya, sorry for the extremely late reply, just wanted to say that I've already tried modifying the vertex colors, the emissive color, and the XYZ values in NiPoseData but have had no luck, it still switches to green, I'm starting to believe God is f***ing with me, I swear. EDIT: And yes, the glow map is blue, not green, hell, it's not even green on the original Plasma Defender, it's actually white.
  8. I'm not making this up, the glow starts off as blue when the weapon is equipped but becomes green after the first shot is fired.
  9. After examining the ingame behavior of the weapon when using it the emissive color of the sections seems to change dynamically so that they're red when reloading, green when idle, and black when firing the weapon, It's obviously controlled by "NiMaterialColorController" but I have no idea how to change it.
  10. But the texture already is a different color, the glowing areas are a light shade of blue both on the normal (Decal) texture and on the glow map, it also now glows blue when I pick it up after upgrading my graphics card (previously it just was blue but not glowing until I first fired it) but it then turns green after the first shot is fired from it.
  11. "Has Vertex Colors" was set to 'no', so I was suspicious that vertex colors were to blame, but just to be certain I turned it to yes anyways and changed the vertex colors all to cyan and the glow on the Defender is still green despite everything I've tried so far.
  12. I already made sure that the mesh had the custom Glow Map I had made applied to it, originally as part of a texture set in the GECK and later on by directly changing what texture files the mesh used by default (I made a copy of the original mesh to use the alternate textures), and if it is in the vertex data, then I have no idea how I to change it in there. o~o
  13. So I was mucking about trying to make a custom Plasma Defender for myself when I came across a snag in my plan, I didn't know how to modify the green glow that certain sections of the weapon have when it's not being fired or reloaded, as seen here: http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc61/Dragonu_2007/ScreenShot50_zps1fbce1ea.png Knowing that I had correctly modified the glow map of the weapon, I knew that the glow must have been hardcoded into the mesh of the file, so after loading the .nif in nifskope and running its animation I noticed that indeed the sections changed from non-glowing towards glowing a slightly yellow shade of green, so I found the values that controlled the hue and changed it to cyan, as seen here: http://gyazo.com/a701684bec599b6e1ff7320d050853aa.png Well, after saving the modified mesh and loading the game up again I found -much to my annoyance- that the glow was still green. Loading the mesh up again to see if maybe I had accidentally NOT saved and finding that my changes were indeed applied I am now at a dead end and have no idea how I could change the color of the glow, and so I've decided to ask the Nexus community for aid. So, does anyone know how to change the glow?
