  1. I was wondering if there is a fix for the minimap that adds South, East, and West markers? Or a mod that keeps the minimap stationary with North always at the top? If there is a mod like this, please leave a msg. BB1
  2. I see many cool new weapon mods but nothing to make vanilla weapons function like the new weapon mods. The new weapons have damage modifiers in addition to the chamber enhancements, rate of fire modifiers, and several types of sights and scope styles. I'd like to see a mod that also enhances the speed a weapon can be swung. I don't even use the barrel muzzle mods because you get penalized in damage and accuracy. So, why put them as upgrades at all if the customizing effects are negative. Is there anyone working on making vanilla weapons more customizable in game through the pip-boy (MCM)? Or is there a mod out there I don't know about, please let me know. Otherwise, I'd like to see a mod that affects all vanilla weapons like the new weapon mods. BB1

There is a mod on the Nexus that is from the Fallout 4 game that never made it into the game but really needs to be. www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4438 Would someone please make this live for fallout 4? I've seen hundreds of weapon mods that reskin the game weapons but not one like this and it really needs to be looked into by someone with some technical know-how. So, Would someone please look into this? BB1
  4. Hi, I found a Triss Armor mod with great colors but the mod maker made it in CBBE HDT. Every mod I use is picked to work with UNP. The mod page is "nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4708?" and the author is Psyke23. When I last talked to him he told me that he wasn't going to convert the mod but that I could go ahead if I wanted to it. Here is where the problem starts. I don't know diddly about bodyslide so I'm hoping somone with know-how could help out. I still think that a mod author should still try and get authorization from Psyke23. All I want is the bodyslide so my player looks UNP normal wearing the armor. I'm just hoping someone will consider doing this. BB1
  5. Does anyone have trouble assigning two identical weapons to the same key after the weapons have been upgraded? Is there a fix for this so I can assign two same weapons to one key? I miss that feature, click once for one weapon, click again and two weapons are there. Go ahead and clobber the enemy. Any fix would be appreciated. BB1
  6. Hi, I found a great standalone Triss armor with great retextures but it's in CBBE HDT and I use UNP. The problem I see when wearing this armor is the female characters appear very flat chested and I have no idea how or if this can possibly be over-ridden by UNP. The author is not doing any updates at all and just won't answer any pms. So I would like see this mod www.nexusmods/skyrim/mods/4708/ get an option to have an update to UNP HDT if possible. I hope someone can figure this out, I would make a donation. Sincerely, BB1 Have since done a re-install and have the CBBE HDT working but OMG, UNP is so much better. So, if someone could fix this, it be greatly appreciated.
  7. Don't you just wish the world had fewer know-it-alls? I posted this was happening for over a month. I've updating my f4se every time an update pukes on my mods that require it. I see Expired has a an update and gladly everything is working. It is entertaining at least to see who thinks they're most qualified to answer a post without reading the whole thing.
  8. My game has been saying the I'm running a newer game version than the Looksmenu is looking for at least a month. That I can't explain.
  9. Is Expired looking after Looksmenu or is it abandoned like a dead fish. I sure hope someone is looking after this mod.
  10. I'd like to see a feature added to the nexus that allows us to search our own download history to help speed up locating a specific mod that was downloaded many years and downloads ago. I would imagine some folks must have downloaded several hundred mods in their time playing Skyrim which would add up to many pages of download history. Trying to find that one mod in the Sea of Download History is somewhat agonizing, time consuming, and hard on the eyes. So that's all I'd like to see added to the new Nexus....for now. Please and thanks. BB1
  11. In response to post #49983522. I'm in agreement about this name choice. It should still have Nexus in the name so searching for a mod manager for the first time user shows a familiar name in the web search. It would be a Nexus all game mod management system of some kind.
  12. That is ridiculous. For one you want the bullet to drop its energy into whatever you hit in order to cause sufficient wounding. Secondly even if you *could* line up multiple targets, a bullet deforms as it travels through solid objects which can distort its course, and thirdly: that's not what miniguns are for. The incredibly high rate of fire is to give you a sufficient density of rounds on target over short engagement windows to give a better probability of scoring a hit. Ok, that's not right and I could do maths to show it - or just provide analogies. Bullets are tiny and their momentum is negligible compared to a human being, which is why you can launch them from a firearm braced against your shoulder. Heavy bullets do have their uses though, as I imagine you know. Amen to that. There are so many things involved in what happens that any game that tries to simulate them accurately gets pretty dry quite fast. Why don't you shoot something with a rifle before shooting your mouth and reading everything before putting your mouth in gear. I've shot coyotes with .223 FMJ and they are not for hunting or for that matter for killing because there isn't any bullet expansion or fragmentation to cause any hydraulic effect so there won't be a wound channel. The coyote runs for miles and you loose them because the entry and exit wound clot over and the blood trail stops. The bullet type has everything to do with killing or wounding. A .223 (5.56) 50 grain V-max @ 3300 fps if shot at a broad-side coyote will disintegrate it self within an inch of penetrating the ribcage and will liquefy the heart and lungs but will NOT make an exit wound because there isn't a fragment larger than the end of a pencil lead. This I have proved time after time for many years of trapping and hunting. I have also seen a friend of mine shoot two coyotes with one shot but it was a .308 (7.62) with 150 grain bullet designed to smash through bone and cripple large game. The only thing ridiculous was explaining this to someone who at the most has shot a paper target.
  13. Hi, I like the idea but many of the players concerns are about maxed out mod lists. New 308 ammo for the Gatling gun is not as effective as using 223 or 5.56 NATO since you will be able to carry twice as much ammo. By switching the bullet type from regular lead tip or poly tipped to FMJ, armor will be penetrated a lot faster and the bullet will pass through unarmored enemies into the next one directly behind the first target. Crowd control is it's purpose. Plus adding more required mods isn't solving that too many mods problem. Looking forward to the final package. BB1
  14. Hi All, I have what I feel is an odd question but because I don't have any knowledge regarding paint and color brightness, I wanted to ask to see if anyone could answer my question. I was scrolling through the build menu and came across some beautiful new cars and trucks with brilliant shiny new looking paint. The kind of colors that would say "I am the craftsman, I take pride in my work, and all new build jobs would look equally the same". So, why are the cars and trucks so nice and pretty while all the power armor paints look faded, dull, and just plain trashy? And almost indistinguishable from unpainted armor. This is a new paint job for my "Priceless Power Armor". It should be brilliant, bold, and just amazingly new and shiny. A plain John Deere green is better looking even without the clear top coat. But it isn't, it looks horrible. Am I to accept that I can only craft garbage? Is it impossible to fix this atrocity or is someone able to fix it? It just makes no sense! Thanks, BB1
  15. Hi, I'll try to explain what I'd like to see in an armor mod. I'd like to be able to preset a specific armor type, it's appearance, and quantity needed. It would make no difference to me if this was done at mods installation or at the workbench. You would either have all of that armor type (leather, metal, combat or all types) set to be in one weight and in the appearance you desire so all the npc or followers are wearing the same type of armor you want and then run around and gift them the armor. Or click on the npc and assign the clothing type then you know at a glance where the npc is assigned. Farmers wear farm clothes, guards wear armor or what ever you want. This would save a ton of time at the workbench and your eyes wouldn't be seeing double by time you complete all the construction. Not to mention boredom. Please tell me if this exists or if you are assuming the task of making the mod possible. Thanks. BB1
  16. Hi, If you hate Bethesda that much, could you find some apathy for the people who really like your mods. I for one will be at a loss without the use of your mods. And I use them all faithfully. So, that said, is there any way you could leave access of your mods with a competent modder so your work here isn't lost? Sad to see you leaving, BB1
  17. I've tried my hardest to understand the terminology in the programs needed to perform the retexturing, but it's more complicated than I imagined. I had an idea to use a scarf or Gugel from Grimoas Scarves mod found here Nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17401/? and the skirt from Ashara Elven Knight Armor at Nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57613/? All I really need is someone to retexture the skirt, which SydneyB has graciously provided a gimp file and permission, in colors that closely match the Grimoas scarf colors. Then there would be an accessory to provide a little bit of B&B coverage to some cute but skimpy'ish armor and clothing. I use the black scarf and black skirt already but it would be real nice to have some options that would allow wearing different colors of armor or clothing for different character builds. Gromoas has black, grey, blue, brown, white colored scarves but the Ashara shirts really don't match the colors very well. So if someone who isn't mentally challenged like me could do this, many characters will grovel at your feet. BB1
  18. Hi All, I want to be rad free in an indoor setting where all windows and holes are repaired or closed off from the environment. If the home is fixed, it could then be marked as safe. I would also like to see the settlers rush to their safe homes in the event of an attach on the settlement so they are out of the cross fire of the assigned defense, turrets, robots, and settlers assigned to defense stations. You would have a few minutes to assess the damages before they resume work activities. Doesn't it make sense if you are sleeping in your happy home that it should be rad free if that home is closed to the outside making you safe from the rad storms??? Having the ability to make your home safe from both environment and anything life threatening is what I thought these settlement builds were about. Creating a safe place to start both yours and the settlers new lives!! This a great idea!! Our Safety is Primary! BB1
  19. I would like to ask someone to add muscle shirt to the harness armor. I would also like to see the t-shirt under all the jump suits removed or removable. Lastly, I would like someone to make a Multiple Follower Command System that allows singular or multiple follow/dismiss, take cover, fall back/retreat, command heal or assign medic/healer, assign combat style, set follow distance that gives player a personal space barrier, and resurrect from the command window. That is all that I wish for Santa. BB1
  20. OMG! Do I need to explain those 3 letters to anyone? I hope not. Good! The post started with a player wanting to have an additional follower and some of the responses went from 2 or 3 followers to having a herd of followers to absolutely crazy. I really like having the interaction of a talking follower. I get to include them in my game altering decisions. Personally, some kind of "Follower Management System" would solve most of the complaints. You could keep the followers out of your butt crack, back away from you if you turn around to change direction (personal space thing), stop them from parking their head right in front of your rifle sights, assign perk options to followers or disable options, AND an adjustable combat style with combat options could be assigned to each follower so you have a rough idea where they should be when combat starts. "Follower Management System" it might work. You could control one or many. There is a great system for management of followers in a Skyrim mod that is very easy to use but I don't have a clue if it's useable in Fallout 4. I wish I did know how to implement a control system because this game really needs something like it.
  21. What happened to the squirrels, iguana, horses, goats, donkey's, birds, and sheep. How dangerous could a two headed raging ram be? I eat squirrel everyday but never see one....Hmmm? A draft horse would carry or pull more load than a Brahmin and might even fight back if attacked. Did Vault-tec forget about all of the animals they could have done testing on in addition to the human subjects? Oh what a genetically ghoulish nightmare this could be. The thoughts make the hair on the back of my neck stand. BB1

I thought that having a "request list" from each settlement could be added into the Pipboy so you would know what is needed for repair thus saving a lot of wasted time gathering non-essential scrap. Then anything that is better scrap can be moved to the salvage list before everything is dumped into the junk. It's just a thought so maybe 1/4 sized in (1x8' or 2x4') and 1/3 sized sheets for patch repair of various materials for roves and walls of the buildings (4x8 - plywood, aluminum, light galvanized steel sheets, or what-ever material is needed in smaller sizes of the base products) could be introduced to the wasteland for repair to each of the settlement building sites like a shopping list for what is needed. BB1.

  24. What's it like having the ability to belittle people and get away with it? Weird that the highly educated people have natural ability to assume one hasn't tried the obvious. I have tried many times to install the mod in question, yet I can't seem to get the files to go in the right place. So please take the podium and feel free to preach about something I know nothing about and I'll show you how to remove the unborn fetus' from an old sow without throwing up your dinner. Or how to tie the knots on monofilament line so you can cast your fly line out and have the perfect lay of the hand tied fishing fly that you created from feathers, yarn, and thread. It's a work of art to watch if it comes natural to you. So, I do know how to bash my head against a wall to try and understand the things that you think are just natural to you.
