  1. I think I have the same problem as you. Mine is also flickering randomly and looks very similar. It also appears after I hit an attack button. http://i.imgur.com/vfYiiMU.jpg Edit: I think I found the solution for this. In my case, it seems like a script from SkyTweak was causing this. In the SkyTweak MCM under "Scripts" there is an option to turn on NPC melee stagger, which apparently staggers NPCs when you hit them with melee weapons. After I turned this off again, the effect didn't come anymore. For now at least... I remember also getting this totally randomly, but now I also got it after every attack I made. This is finally gone now though.
  2. I want to give a custom race, which is not able to sneak, the ability to sneak, but I cant find how to do this. It doesnt even have to have animations, just being able to get into sneak mode would be perfect. I especially want this to be able to pickpocket, because it actually fits perfectly to the race (its a faerie race), but i just cant get into sneak mode. Anyone know how to do this?
  3. I see.... So, my comment probably just got deleted by the mod author then... Ok, then now I understand this. I just got confused by this, because I just said what I wished would have been different, and gave reasons for this, and then suddenly everyone got totally defensive and my comment got deleted. I thought a moderator did delete it, but now I understand. I also read this thread here http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2881-all-newbies-read-this-before-posting/ and to me it appeared very much like every chapter was about rule violations. I thought chapter X was also prohibited, because it really sounds like it. But when it's just an explanation of Constructive critic then that's something different of course. Anyway, thanks for clearing this up. I was just wondering.
  4. I did not get banned, but I noticed that comments which give anything but praise often quickly get deleted here. I also read in the rules that constructive criticism is prohibited. Constructive critic often can be very subjective, because it often also just comes down to personal tastes, but like I said, just because some people take this too personally and start to gang up on someone, is no reason to prohibit it.
  5. Even though chances are high I probably will get banned for this question here :D, but why is constructive criticism prohibited on this site? I really don't get it... If I would make a mod or something, I actually would be happy about people giving me some constructive critic, because it sometimes can help to get better at making mods. When endorsements are the only thing left to look at what people like and what they don't like, it's almost like the site rules encourage people to only make mods for fame instead of actually trying to push the game. It seems really bizarre to me how sensitive many people are here, because that no mod is perfect is clear, anyway, so prohibiting constructive criticism is really beyond me. People provide their mods here for free, that's clear, but this is no reason to prohibit constructive critic, since it's nothing negative, but actually there to build people up. Just because some people take this too personally is no reason to ban people who actually did nothing wrong.
  6. So after searching and searching, I still can't figure out how to match the original default Skyrim skeletons on meshes using Blender. I tried to follow XunAmarox guide but don't really understand it from these simple few pics provided there. I don't even know where to find some of these options there in these pics. Then when I try to import a .nif mesh with Blender 249, I always just get a Python script error, saying the string would be too long. Only thing which seems to work for me there is when I import meshes as .obj files, but there I also still can't import any skeletons. With Blender 269 I have little more success, meaning that I can easily import any meshes and skeletons as .dae files, but there I also still have the problem of not knowing how to rig the meshes with the original Skyrim skeletons. I also couldn't find any tutorial about this for Blender 269. Is there any possibility to do this there? I know in 3DSMax you just have to right click and press Freeze Selection, that's it. Why is this so complicated there or am I just missing something? I don't really want to make any new skeletons but rather just use the default skeletons, so is there any way to match them on the meshes preferably using Blender 269?
  7. Can someone perhaps tell me how to install this? I easily managed to install the Equipping Overhaul Main file, but the Alpha Build with the shield on back and dual sheath just absolutely doesn't work for me. I just want to be able to see the weapons (shield) Im carrying (how it actually should be standart in games...), but I really don't know what to do there anymore. I don't want any 1H swords or dagger on my back, I want everything how it is normally. I just want to be able to have the shield on my back and the dual sheath, plus being able to see all my weapons of course. What exactly do I have to install there from the XPMS for example? There are umpteens of folders in there but nothing in the description says what I actually have to install there from. I tried installing the skeleton rig folder, but this also didn't work. Can anybody give me a description of what exactly I have to do to make this mod (Equipping Overhaul Alpha Build) work somehow?
