  1. Damn I didn't realize it was that bad. Any suggestions?
  2. Okay, so I think I've gotten Skyrim how I want it, everything seems to be okay. I'm experiencing a bit of lag though, and I'm wondering if there are any script-heavy mods that I could replace with something a bit less advanced but easier on my system. This is what I'm running: Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Hi, first off, I wanna start by saying thanks to everyone who has come together to make this great game even better. After seeing what Nexus Mods had to offer, I knew I had to get a gaming laptop to play Skyrim and try them out. That being said, I'm still not too great at modding. I've probably made a lot of rookie mistakes, but I followed the "guide to modding Skyrim" posted on the Nexus to consolidate my textures and to properly use Wyre Bash, Loot, TES5 Edit and, of course, MO. Still, I seem to have quite the lag problem. I've tried FPS boosters and mods, lower end graphics and a lot of other things. The only think I can think is causing this is that my laptop, while not too shabby, isn't able to run some of the more high-end mods I have. So, I'd like to know what of my mods I should replace/get rid of, and if there are better alternatives to what I have. What I'm really looking for is a complete experience overhaul; different perks, fighting, magic, character creation, survival, all of it. So I tried to do my best, but I may have overdone it. I've re-done my mod list so many times and started from scratch that I'd rather not have to do that again. I'm trying to do a RP playthrough where my character starts as a member of the Thieves Guild, becomes a member of the Dark Brotherhood then redeems himself as the Dragonborn (I've redone the Thieves Guild more times than I care to count), but I'd be willing to restart fresh again if that would help. Basically, any recommendations for what I should be using to maximize my experience without causing lag. I've tried both SkyRe and PerMa and it was a bit too complicated for my taste, so I'm using SPERG. Below is my loadout: Thanks in advance!
  4. Yeah it's Immersive Patrols II, or at least the helmet.esp files. Uncheck them ad you should be fine. Happened to me too. The Nightingale Hoods made my head vanish.
  5. So I was checking out the best custom homes and I'd have to say Sjogga's Dawnspire is where it's at. With the custom theme, automatic sorting and the whatnot, it seems like the perfect home. Only problem is, it's not set up for TMPhoenix's Multiple Adoptions mod. I'm big on the adoption aspect of the game and I'd love to use this home, but I have to go with the houses that allow adoption. Luckily, TMP has added a nifty how-to with his mod to allow people to add his mod to their homes. Unfortunately, I'm just not very good at modding. I tried to look at it to see if I could, but alas, I'm dumb. Dumb as hell. So my question is; are there any modders out there who would be kind enough to alter this house a bit and throw that in there? That is with Sjogga's permission of course. I've tried contacting him and posted the same question on the Dawnspire's forum, but to no avail. I figured someone else might have better luck. It's a really cool mod and, in my opinion, only missing one thing, and this is it. Thanks in advance, BrandonLonehart.
