  1. I'm having the same damned problem, shadow. This happened when the game crashed during my use of the Fake Fullscreen mod. Now I can't even get the game working now. >:( Here are my mods: World of Pain Beyond Boulder Dome CINEMATECH Darnified v4 DYNAVISION Enhanced Blood Textures EVE Nevada Skies v.7.1 New Vegas Bounties oHUD POCO BUENO Project Nevada (and all the compad. patches) Director's Chair IMAGINATOR Mod Config Menu Unified HUD project Vurt's Wasteland Flora Overhaul Weapon Animation's Replacer Weapon Mods Expanded I have WIndows7 Ultimate
  2. So my objective is to fill up an elven jar five times in five separate locations. I was freezing to death because of the Frostfall mod so I told Serana to "stay here" so she can cook, sleep, or whatever else near our campsite. Once I woke up, I intended her to follow me again. Sadly, there isn't any option for her to return to my aid. She just stands there by herself, and there's nothing I could do about it except command her to wait in particular locations. The only mods that I have that involves followers is the Move It Dammit mod-- no UFO or anything similar. I did have the ability for Serana to return to me again before this moment, so I doubt it's that mod's fault. So what could be the problem? Maybe there's a console command so she can follow me again?
  3. I had some save bloating issues lately, so out of acts of amending things, I deactivated autosaving and occasionally deleted my quicksaves here-and-there, usually following-up with another quicksave. Well, it turns out that I exited the game without quicksaving and now my 100-hours worth has come to vain. I grew anxious and hopeless, knowing that my chances to finally beat this game have been nulled-- AGAIN, FOR A THIRD TIME! However, I've seen a "quicksave.ess.bak" file in my folder. Is there a way to redeem my stupidity? Some program to alter save files in Skyrim? PLEASE, RESPOND!
  4. I have the same problem, and seeing that there's no solution yet...
  5. I'm getting the same problem. Are you load screens/quicksaves much slower than usual? Also, do you have Imps Complex Needs as one of your mods? If so, I think we may have a connection to a solution somehow.
  6. One thing missing from Skyrim that was in Morrowind and Oblivion were the small symbols that were shown on your screen that shown the effects of buffs, ingredients, potions and diseases, including their duration towards disappearance. You can see your passive affects in the spell menu, but I consider that to be too much of a pain just to see the effect of a simple gift from the gods after praying. So has there ever been a mod that adds this?
  7. So I reached High Hrothgar for a second time in my game, only to realize that the weather up there is clear as day. No fog to cover the distance, no heavy winds to give sense that you're on high elevation, no nothing. I thought it was my EDWS Dynamic Weather mod, so I checked it off-- it didn't do a thing. What do?
  8. Does this lag spike happen every thirty seconds or so? If so, it's probably caused by a problem that 1.5 did, where save files have become completely bloated. To fix this, the only way is to literally restart a new game from scratch. It sucks, I know. Just keep your current save files on you desktop in case a miracle happens where Bethesda fixes this.
  9. This is ruining my "imps food survival mod"! Do you guys know of anything that may have caused this? Thanks. :)
  10. The level progression system is shallow, the game is way too easy, the power-attack focused stamina system makes combat spammy, and the quests are less interesting and well written than Oblivions.
  11. According to Facebook: "For our Skyrim PC fans, the Creation Kit is on track for release on Tuesday. And, we also have a special surprise with it." Surprise = DLC annoucement? :3
  12. I've come to realize this myself. This 1.4.20 patch really is a huge problem. Thank God it's beta.
  13. i have the same problem too with my 1.4.20 beta patch. The game just stutters like crazy on my Nvidia GTX 285 and Intel i7 920 2.6 ghz. It never stuttered like this before until now. Could it be the 2K HD texture pack?
  14. Whenever I enter into an indoor area, or stay in an indoor area for a particular amount of time, the game freezes. Ctrl+Alt+Deleting usually doesn't work, so my only solution is... *shutters* restarting my PC. This is really unacceptable, and the game is 100% unplayable because of this problem. I have patch 1.6 installed, and I have a phenomenal computer that can run particular games like Crysis on Very High settings. Fallout3 runs smoothly, but when it freezes, it freezes. And it gets annoying fast. MODs: High-res Terrain MOD (2048x2048) and extra GNR tracks.
  15. What part of the folder do you need a picture of?
  16. It had to be installed right. The Archiveinalidation Invalidated! program has been extracted to the Fallout3 install folder like it should. The texture folder has also been inserted into the data folder. The textures are not working at all.
  17. The MOD doesn't seem to work. According to the installation guide on the MOD's ReadMe, it says that you must put the 7zip file, or "data", into the Fallout3 folder. This causes the file to automatically go into the appropriate place. But for some reason, it's not in my Data Files in the launch window. I have the archiveinvalidation program set to activated, so that cannot be the problem. Did I do anything wrong?
  18. Amazingly, yes. Just like a homing missile, you "fire and forget". Also known as activate it and never touch it again. Unless of course, you'd want to see Bethesda's dreadful undies again. FYI, ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated is not just for undies and nudies, but for a lot of pther things too, such as the Vault 101 suit replacer and such. Thank you very much, lad. I love your use of metaphors. Just ONE more question: After reading an installation tutorial, it says... Open up FALLOUT.ini in My Documents\My Games\Fallout 3, find the SArchiveList= line, and add ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa before everything else, so it looks something like this: SArchiveList=ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - MenuVoices.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa" So it's telling me to add ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - MenuVoices.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa" To only the lists with a single S and not the SS lists? Or do I just add ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa?
  19. So all I do is add the Invalidated program into the Fallout3 install file, activate it, when paste in any of the mods that I want? The program does all the complicated things for me? And if so, do I have to deactivate it when I'm done, or do I leave it activated the whole time?
  20. I downloaded the program called "archiveinvalidation invalidated!", and it gives me the choice to disable or active something. Any simplistic summary? Because all the descriptions I've read made no sense.
