I made sure that after installing a different mod I deactivated the previous one (And checked again before making this thread just to be sure) Its not a mod conflict sadly as I have only had one vampire related mod on at a time. I did however manage to find a mod called nosundamage which actually worked. However it seemed that the no vampire disadvantages mod (or the vampire feeding, I forget which one I last had activated) is what kept people from attacking me. As for the Lithians Nature of the Beast Mod, it looks really promising. I however can't seem to get it working. I have the pop up tell me its there, I have the black heart though its not doing anything and I pressing V doesn't do anything. I'll try downloading a new version of the OBSE just in case its that (though I did download it recently) EDIT: After redownloading OBSE I had a quick look in the readme and it said I had to start Oblivion with the OBSE loader. Despite not getting to tweak the data files before starting when running the game this way (I can still use OMM for that anyway) I did get the Lithian mod working. The problem is that nosundamage is no longer working. I still get vampirism sun damage ( 5 ) though when I toggle the Lithian Conceal nature sun damage (I have it active at the time) I have just plain vampirism ( 8 ) listed right next to vampirism sun damage ( 5 )

Now I currently have my character playing as a vampire and I want protection from the sun. I want to avoid having to wear a robe and hood all the time (depends on the hood) and I would rather not use a mod which changes vampires too much that it brings up other disadvantages I can't live with (depends on the changes though, I'd have to see) I tried JaySuS Vampire mod which adds a small quest where you can get some hoods to protect you from the sun however they only worked once and that was it (I checked the comments and put it on when I was in the sun and got no difference) I then tried Vampires Without Disadvantages (after turning off the JaySuS mod) which basically takes away sun damage among fire damage (personally I didn't want to use it as it seemed too easy) and I still had the sun damage and fire damage effects. The last one I tried was Vampire Feeding (got this one from TES Planet) which basically removes sun damage from all but level 4 vampires (I could live with that) It said I would have to wait a day after being a vampire (already did so before this but I did it again to be safe) after feeding (again, I fed on someone) and after going into the daylight I still took damage. I have seen several mods which promise sunlight protection but its either an overhaul which has disadvantages that puts me back at square one or its close but not enough (I saw a mod which had an amulet that could protect you from sunlight but it had some sort of curse if you forget to remove it every time you sleep which the author decided to be all mysterious about) Overall I am looking for a mod that lets me walk around in the day as a vampire wearing no more than a hood (depends on appearance) or an amulet if I have to. I would prefer this method as just turning it off altogether seems a bit easy. If there is an overhaul mod that includes it I would rather it not come with other consequences that seem a bit too much (I'd still like to hear them though)
