So I'm basically in tears now because I'm not very computer literate when it comes to all this modding stuff. I have the version of rebirth mod that came right before the one released a few days ago. I'm not understanding how to just patch it to the new version. I don't want to just drag and drop all the data files because then it might overwrite some things that I added that change some of the landscape. Am I just supposed to drop the appropriate .esp and .esm files into my data folder without having to actually add all the other folders if I already have a version of rebirth? Anyways, that's what I did but then when I try to update my save in wrye mash it won't let me. I keep getting an error message about unknown characters in my file masters or something like that. I have no idea how to operate this wrye mash program. It's very confusing to me. I read somewhere about an update for it so I download that and it's still giving me the error message. To be honest, I'm not even sure if the wrye mash program is in the right place. If I load my game, I get all these error messages but it still let's me play. I don't want to continue though without fixing it in the wrye mash program in case something fatal has happened that I haven't discovered yet that messes my game up which I've come a long ways in. I apologize for my stupidity but if someone can please help me with this I would be very grateful. I guess I can't play the new version of rebirth until I get this straightened out.
