  1. I really need some help with this. Anyone? I know it can't be too overwhelmingly hard since there are so many replacement mods out there. Somebody must know something??
  2. I've been trying to find an answer to this for months after I wanted to create an NPC Replacement Mod, I read something once about using Nifmerge but I could never get it to work as it wouldn't open any of my head mesh files and the "drag and drop" didn't work either. However, that might be something to consider looking into further. But without nifmerge, it is not possible. Creation kit will NOT recognize extra sliders, whether it's Racemenu or ECE. Sorry.
  3. Very likely your mod manager has its directory for Skyrim set wrong. Make sure it's pathing to the right folder. For example, my Skyrim program folder is in My Documents, where as usually it would be under Program Files. I don't have a problem installing mods or using NMM, but if you have your Skyrim in an odd place this is what can happen. Also make sure NMM has Admin rights, and/or try opening it in Administrator mode. If it's set to the right folder and all I'd say re-install NMM and that may help. If not, it looks as though you're gonna have to go manual with your mods.
  4. Not sure what's causing this either, do you have any eye mods installed? Or maybe had an eye mod installed previously? That's very likely the problem. If so, just make sure you've removed every trace of the mod and see if anything changes. If not using a mod or nothing changes I suggest opening your original Skyrim textures .bsa (F03 Archive is handy for this.) and extract the eye textures into your Skyrim/data folder. In case you are unsure how to really go about this I'll make it easy; Open F03 Archive Click "File" then "Open Archive" If not already set to the right directory navigate to Skyrim/data Open Skyrim - Textures.bsa Then expand the textures folder/actors/character/eyes Select all the eyes.dds Go to "Action" and then "Extract selected files" Make sure that they are extracted to exactly Skyrim/data/textures/actors/character/eyes Then you should be golden. If this somehow doesn't fix it and you don't want to entirely re-install Skyrim, find a full eye replacement mod (meaning for all species) and try that.
  5. Hi there, I'm trying to use Ashara's Elven Knight as a replacement for female Stormcloaks. Where I'm at is that I want to either 1. Replace the Stormcloak cuirass with a mesh than includes most all of the armor pieces in one, or 2. Assign extra mesh pieces to the Stormcloak armor. (Elven Knight armor has seperate pauldron, leg armor, skirt, skirt armor, and collar .nif files) My problem with 1 is, although I was able to rename, paste, and save the extra meshes to the base, set the bones first in ck to match those in Nifskope and then when that didn't work I tried setting the mesh bones to match "body" in Nifskope first and didn't change any of the settings in CK. Either way, I get this: http://oi58.tinypic.com/30lyoti.jpg My problem with 2 is that I have absolutely no idea how to tell the game to load extra meshes for a vanilla set. I took a look at http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Skyrim._Part_2, and I've come to understand that if I set the Stormcloak cuirass with the extra Addons meshes, when the Stormcloak cuirass is worn, all other pieces will appear as well... Well I tried that, it doesn't work, armor just disappears in game and I get floating heads. I don't know which one is on the right track so I figured I'd ask about both these problems. I'm not at all experienced with Nifskope or meshes, also relatively new to Creation Kit, so step-by-step would be greatly appreciated.
