  1. I know I'm not the first one to write about this, but after having to do a clean wipe for Fallout 4 and trying to re-download a new set of mods, the sheer frustration of seeing every mod I've downloaded brightly labelled with no other option is incredibly high. I get it, there is the donation points and data sets and statistics, etc., but on the user-end it's absolute balls. In the end we're just talking about stored data, and its unbelievable to me that in the entire history of NexusMods this is the best answer available simply because #datastuff. My suggestion is to allow users to mark mods as "active" or "installed", and for this tag to be visible on the download image instead of the "downloaded". The flag could turn on as part of the download process, and then the user has the option to flip it back to the invisible flag "inactive" or "not-installed". The mod creators get their donation points, the website itself can maintain its permanent download history, kept on a separate list for users to see, and users could finally have a way to keep track of their active mods without having to use a separate program, or pen and paper, to do so. In the meantime, I'm going to go open up a new text file and cobble together a new mod list.
