  2. So I was just about to make a thread asking for a bit of help on figuring out what's happening every 15 minutes to make my Skyrim crash, but midway while typing I just got a pretty good hunch, I just need a bit more help figuring out why now. Alright, so here's what I pieced together. I crash every 15 minutes, no matter what it seems. One time I got PAST 15 minutes but I think I crashed out at 30 or quit playing right before 30. I don't have an issue quick-saving it seems, and I don't seem to have an issue creating a new save. The real reason I think it's the autosave system is that with pretty much all of my Papyrus logging, the last thing to happen is "VM is Frozen", because it's trying to save, and then it just quits. Sometimes I do crash when switching into a new cell, too. Right now I just disabled all autosaves and now I'm going to wait 15 minutes and do a new save, and then a quick save. I'll edit this post with what happens But for now I could really use feedback on what I've already gotten- if anyone's experienced/heard of this issue, has a fix, or anything, really. Of course mods have been cleaned, ordered, checked for conflicts, etc. LOOT reports no issues or warnings. EDIT: Nope. Turning off autosave and just AFK'ing still crashes it out. Not a clue what could be causing it anymore.
  3. Yeah, considering the point you're at, I'd make a back-up of my save, and delete everything related to both NMM and Skyrim and try it again.
  4. I'm really hoping someone here can give me any tip or advice to help me out here. I recently started a new playthrough of Skyrim and I want to do the companion questline, however, the first time I go to try and "ask the companion leaders for work" they don't have any dialogue options that allow me to continue the quest- none of them. As for mods I'm at 103, and I've been playing around with them to see if they were the issue, but even after disabling all of them, none of them still have the option. I even tried cleaning my save for old scripts just to see if that would help. I'm running the latest version of both Skyrim and SKSE. I have all of the DLC and my mods were cleaned, and organized with LOOT. I can provide a mod-list if that would help. I really don't have an idea of what to do, and would greatly appreciate the assistance.
  5. I can't get over how this isn't a thing already. There's not enough "pants based" armor mods, at all. All of the armors are "geared to the death" type of outfits, and even though that may be more realistic, it's a bit annoying that I can't just walk around semi-dressed punching things to death. I've seen a few mods that tried this, but one I just tried doesn't seem to be active and it was only a WIP to begin with, and the other just adds stats to the one pair of trousers in the game. Severely disappointing. Maybe there's a modeller somewhere out there who'd like to take a crack at this, who knows
  6. thanks man, I'll give that a shot
  7. So in the bottom of this mod, the author states that you need to equip an item to your character called "wearable legs" through the console, but I have legitimately no clue what he's talking about, and Googling yields no results. So now my character just has no legs. Anyone know what he means, or what the item code is? Here's the mod; http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49608
  8. So, my Skyrim is CTD'ing quite often. As in, I can't play anymore than an hour now before it just kicks me out, and I'm staring at Steam's Big Picture mode, dazed and confused. To combat this bulls**tery, I'm going to try and clean my Skyrim the best I can. I'm going to start removing unecessary mods, and most importantly, cleaning my save file. My save file is only 11.6 MB currently, but it's gone up some since the lowly 3MB of my first saves, which is expected. What can I do to clean my save file of unecessary information, without losing items from my mods and what not? Also, what else can I do to keep this random, seemingly unprovoked crashing from stopping? I have no DLC, I'm using NMM (latest version as of this post), SKSE, and I have BOSS installed as well. If you need any other information, I'm happy to supply~
