  1. Hello everyone, I was playing Skyrim just like everyone else when I came across a nice fort that I just wished could have been mine. That's when I got the idea for a mod that gives you the option of conquering a fort and making it into your own player home, very much like you can 'capture' the forts for the factions in the civil war (Only played the Imperials so far so not sure if the Stormcloaks can do this as well). The Fortified Yangzee Memorial mod for New Vegas comes to mind immediately, where you can purchase upgrades, add guards to the interior/exterior and overall make the base epic. I think the best way to do trigger the 'capture' option is to either A) Defeat the boss of the fort, or B) Defeat EVERYONE in the fort, including the boss. This would bring up a pop-up asking if you want to capture the fort or not. From there an NPC could be added to make the necessary upgrades. One concern of mine is quest essential forts, like the ones mentioned above. Maybe those can be immune somehow? Also, the forts that you do capture can be occasionally (rates can be adjusted) raided by bandits trying to capture the fort for themselves, or even just wild animals/dragons looking for a meal or a home of their own. What do you think? If you have any idea to make this better, feel free to add! This is all just coming out from the top of my head at the moment.
  2. Ah, I didn't see anything like that on my check through. I'll look again
  3. I'd like to second this request. I'd be willing to do the work myself if someone could tell me how to remove radiation from an area. I've explored the GECK but so far I can't figure it out.
  4. I've always loved the re-addition of the throwing knife into Fallout New Vegas but I was wondering if someone with the necessary skills could replace the vanilla throwing knives with the ones pictured below. http://i60.servimg.com/u/f60/15/10/91/35/throwi12.jpg
  5. Location doesn't really mean much to me but if I had to make a choice I would put it close to a rather large town, but not so close that it's right next door. As for the kinds of homes I like, I prefer the nice fortified bases. Ft. Exodus was my favorite for Fallout 3 since it gave you a small army, a fortified base, and plenty of equipment like you would expect an army to have. For simple homes, I still like the fortified feel, like Solace or Refuge of Fallout 3.
  6. Glad I'm not the only F2000 lover. I hope it's brought over!
  7. I'd recommend that you head over to the CotW forum. They've already found a way to transfer the mod into New Vegas. http://childrenofcyrodiil.com/forums/index.php?topic=731.0
  8. Yup, but unfortunately it looks like the textures are out of whack. Might be on my end though so once he gets back online I can see if it's on his end as well. Edit: Found a mod with the F2000 in it! The ARSENAL mod. Weapons look nice too! http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10681
  9. Second page for me but omg it looks great! I can't wait for the release! All the weapons look great. Did you make them yourself?
  10. That's fine. I'm just glad that someone is working on one. This is a damn sexy weapon and I really can't wait to see it in the game.
  11. I see a lot of weapons on the Nexus and I personally use the 19th and 20th Centuries weapons mod but one weapon that it doesn't add is the FN F2000. I would love to see this weapon made by someone if possible. The grenade launcher attachment would be great to see as well. http://www.fnherstal.com/typo3temp/pics/a417e702b9.jpg More pictures and angles/information can be found here. http://www.fnherstal.com/index.php?id=184&backPID=182&productID=12&pid_product=232&pidList=182&categorySelector=1&detail=&cHash=51abcaaf25 If this weapon has been made already I'd love a link but from searching the Nexus and various mods, I haven't seen it yet.
  12. That sounds a lot like the Super Mutant Enforcer from Martigens Mutant Mod. Here's a pic of it. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/3211-2-1282993294.jpg And here's the mod itself. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3211 I'll look around to see if there's another like it.
  13. Ah okay. XD On topic though, what would be required to actually get this kinda mod off the ground? I'm guessing someone who is really good at scripting? What else would be needed?
  14. This mod lets you lock any gate that you have the key for, or even gates that require no keys at all. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12735
